Why Zimbabwe took fielding again if they can't play spin at all!!! Even 150 is too much for them. Another one sided match.

164 is more than enough. Can't see Zimbabwe score even 150.

Wow Mustafa Kamal comes and rants about Srini in the comm box. So unnecessary.

Eventhough I do not like Mustafa but at least he is brave enough than our super spineless PCB boss and even Sri Lanka boss.

LOL Bangladesh are failing against the attack of Zimbabwe.I have already said Zimbabwe will lose this series due to the burnout they are having

Why do Zimbabwe keep messing around with their line-up? Last match they opened with Jongwe who was their 2nd top scorer, before that Mutumbami played a few good innings. Again today they have chopped and changed, and this Chakabva guy has just gotten out after making 1 off 19. :shehzad

Zimbabwe is sliding down the hill. Should take a break form International cricket and work on their domestic tournaments.

Keep aside your personal vendetta against Zimbabwe. They are where they are because of those tight losses which pushed them back further and further.

A bit like Bangladesh in 2014. We were performing worse than associates. We won a few and confidence came back.

I don't have anything against Zimbabwe but I want to see competitive cricket not one sided match once opposition score over 200.

Issue with Zimbabwe is that they over assess the target. If you are to chase 240 with dew and against a depleted attack. They were cruising at one stage, then there was a run out, then another big partnership and then boom, 2 wickets which were gifted to us. Zimbabwe should understand that having wickets in hand after playing 50 overs mean you should win. Winning against Zimbabwe is not about glory, its a painful case of some teams trying to get themselves in difficult situations

Is it me or does Sunny "chuck"?

He has a very suspicious action to say the least.

183 all out. Congrats BD for another brilliant victory.

Thanks, though almost caught off guard.

These are the matches ZIM should make count - it's about 50 runs handicap batting at night in November @ ZIM spoiled it against an under strength attack. If they bat first, match 'll be over inside 70-80 overs.

At the end of the day, this was a much closer game than the 58 runs gap suggests.

TBH we didn't do anything special. Batting was mediocre, bowling was fine considering we missed Shakib and Rubel, our fielding was exceptional though - i am pretty sure we are a world class fielding side these days.

Zimbabwe should have won the match. Needed 90 from 100 odd balls with 6 wickets and 2 set batsman on the crease, from their going on to lose by 58 runs. As much as we want to appreciate ourselves, we know the match was handed to us on a platter, with a placard on it saying "eat me"

Even on a bad day and without Shakib, Taskin, Rubel, Soumya they still defeated Zim by 50+ runs. Am happy with that. Its 2-0 now.

Congrats Bangladesh.

I think Zimbabwe's guys need a rest. They keep getting roasted. Going from bad to worse. They've been playing non-stop for ages now. And playing badly in general.

Happy for bangla bros these days. After dissapointment year after year they have completely turned it around this year. Hope they go far. One more strong Muslim team to add to the mix :moyo

Bangladesh has the second best ODI win percentage this year behind Australia.

Nothing like Bangladesh 2014 for the following reasons:

1) Bangladesh were still a talented team. ZIM are hardworking disciplined side that just doesnt have the skill and talent once there top 3-4 white players leave.

2) BD went from going 9-5 vs top sides in 2012-2013 to 0-12 in 2014. ***. Zimbabwe meanwhile went from winning very rarely in 2014 to winning very rarely in 2015.

3) ZIM are mostly getting thrashed. First by India A, then NZ, then Pak with a lucky win from the umpires, then snuck past Ireland, before getting hammered by Afghanistan.

Zim were fairly competitive in Pakistan when they came in May bit seem to be sliding now now.

When do Bangladesh make an away tour against traditional top 8 excluding Windies side next?

When was the last time they did? Seems like a while

I really don't like when people says this is THE first year we genuinely turned our fate. 2015 is our best year in cricket. But i dont think we played very bad in last 3/4 years other than 2014 season. I mean yes 2014 was horrible year for Bangladesh. But I believe since 2010 we have been a competitive ODI side.
We whitewashed NZ in 2010 and we played Ok in 2010 overall. 2011 was bad.
But in 2012 we played fine again at least fine to be recognized as rising cricket team. (Although ending was very bad..whitewashed against Pakistan at home)
In 2013 we defeated WES in series, whitewashed NZ AGAIN and also tied a ODI series against SRI at away series. We were top 8 ranked team then. So that should be the year BD really turned their table. Not 2015. 2014 was just big failure for sure. But I felt bad when I saw people were reacting so harsh for our poor one 2014 despite never really appreciating our two fine seasons earlier. It's like we have been performing very poor since 2011. NEVER.
I would say Bangladesh played fine in 2012.
Great in 2013.
Horrible in 2014.
Tremendous in 2015.
