What is the purpose of this tuk tuk? Why not try and make a match of it, regardless of how unlikely the result is

playing 100 overs to score 300 runs is not acceptable in this era and against no. 9 test playing nation in subcontinent pitches.

should have accelerated early on and declared by lunch and give enough sessions for bowlers to get 20 wickets...

They were never going to win the match with all rain...also I expect the Bangladesh Batting to bat better in second innings.

Need some special bowling effort from pakistan , the pitch is slow and keeping low. Lets see if our spinners are good enough.
 
Never understood the obsession for personal milestones.

The culture of s team should be such that the team total is way important then a 50 by a batter.
 
Reckon the umpire needs a bit of scrutiny, took a drinks break as soon as Fawad was on 48. Why not just wait? You can see what Pak are trying to do.

It makes difference when opposition is 9 wickets down and you need an over to get last wicket.
India needed an over or 2 on fifth day of first test match in Kanpur to win the match.

No saying this Pak-BD match will end up same but you never know.

Still gotta be fair yaar, you tell me did it make sense to have a drinks break when Fawad was on 48? I think a person with half a brain knows what Pak was trying to do, could've delayed it.

I am sure with the bad light umpires wont allow even spinners to bowl and with shaqib and das to come i doubt that can happen...
 
Where are all those who were saying Sajid is the worst spinner to represent Pakistan :))
 
Any chance of Mushfiq and Shakib showing us aage aage kya hoga?

So true, these posters think every player is rubminnow level in Pakistan team, even though Pakistan have often been beating opponents they play.

let's see but as a blessing Pak have 98 overs tomorrow and can make full use of the pace tomorrow. Pak have been gifted 2 wickets so far.

You can't declare for a low total as well, a person puts so much effort into his innings then he deserves his milestone. If batting approaches should be criticised then how on earth is Azhar getting a "get out of jail" free card?

If Pakistan wants to be top 3 team they have to take some decision out of the box. You may get away with poor strategy against weak team but bigger team will eat us alive.
 
We are bowling with spinners we lost the chance of fast bowling spell. Still we got 3 wickets. But as much i know you two you will say this was bangladesh's own fault they played bad.
Hasan Ali was just giving ball back to sajid ali but with God's mercy it hitted the stumps.
 
Deserved the wicket after the horrible umpiring by Bangladeshi umpire

You are still missing the point. Teams like India, Australia will not tuktuk and waste 10-15 overs to score 10+ runs when overs are limited.
 
Sajid gets Liton....catch and bowled...if it wasn't for that run-out, Sajid would have been on for the 10-er!
 
Good bowling pressure by Pakistan bowling with only two spinners, albeit very ordinary display by Bangladesh batsmen, no attempt to fight. If Pakistan batted like that too they would have been all out for 150. Luckily Pakistan approached sensibly and are in good position now, but I fear there may not be enough time left due to weather.
 
Nauman is having a nightmare of a series , not acceptable to go away with less wickets from pitches in bangladesh where spinners can pick 5-fer and 10-fer

Pakistan is not Australia, let the boys reach peak Pakistan standards first and mature into a good team..
 
We had greater chances of winning if we had 35 to 40 runs more

101 too low to enforce a follow on.
 
Nauman is planning to retire after this game.. looks like a 50yr old playing in a park… every ball is borderline no ball & not backing up to the stumps is just criminal 🤷🏽*♂️

Not being able to use their fast bowlers first up has proved to be a blessing for Pakistan today....
 
If Bangladesh loses this test match ICC should strip them of their test status, it's absolutely pathetic from them.
 
How many to avoid follow on?

Do not give BD the initiative to bowl again. They will do everything in their power for the umpires to call bad light

A team can always refuse to bowl spinners in last hour. For adding that last hour to this match, Pakistan shouldn't enforce a follow on.
 
Bangladesh need 30 runs to avoid follow on. Pakistan need 3 wkts. If they can get Bangladesh Batting again tonight. Tmmrw will be an intriguing day

Only if rain is predicted.

Otherwise with 80 needed in last 15 overs in fading light, Bangladesh Team can refuse to bowl spin. OTOH, If Pakistan needs 5 wickets in last hour, they can always continue with spinners.

Follow on simply means that last hour tomorrow is gone out of equation.
