Lol..People trying to defend hafeez desperately now.
They would have been jumping in the air if hafeez would have managed to hit a four off him.

Really, when Sethi bowed to Big 3 and cause Pakistan loose Millons of $$$$$ and Ramiz was advocating for IPL gamble then what is your say? Amir (Not even cause us loose a game) is a convict but Ramiz, Sethi are worse than this.

I don't want to derail the thread. I just feel we already criticized Haffez enough and it's time to put an end.

Then only God is his witness and judge...let God decide his fate and not some random fans...For the crime he commit he is already punished.

If people really care about attitude, best behavior, politeness, gentleness they should look somewhere else (Temple). We need players to perform not so-called timid gentlemen who well contributed us to rank 9.

Yeah, its embarrassing really. He's getting all this hate because he doesn't want to share the same dressing room with a player who sold out his country!

Really shameful stuff from some fans, you'd think fans would be more supportive of Hafeezs stance but alas Pakistan cricket is desperate right now, so much so they're willing to accept fixers with open arms and attack honorable players who don't want to play with them.

Not only that...I respect every person who did a crime got punished done his time and now trying to start a new life away from his mistake...Anyone who is not harmful to society deserve his second chance and I respect him/her for this.

You have any problem with that ??
 
Amir has completed his punishment and after that if society makes it harder for people to be integrated back it is not good and Hafeez is somewhat guilty of that.
Idealism looks good on paper.

Being paid to give the opposition a free run in an international match... how is that not selling our your country.

Don't get me wrong - I'm fine with Amir coming back, but the way have jumped on his back and bagged any player against his return has been poor. They have every right to not want him back.

If you people really care about Selling country, corruption. Why not start from the top? Big 3, IPL corruption, BCCI..... You people can attack who is already be punished and without power. Such a selective support.

Bowling 2 no balls is not selling your country not in my book not by any means....and I am sorry I dont think country can be sold on sport field, I am not that hyper patriotic lunatic who hold a blind eye and keep dramatic moral standards (which are mostly double standards), less I say about citizens of my country better it is.

I think countries are actually sold by Politicians,Generals and Bureaucrats and not by sportsman.

For me Amir did a crime like many before him and many after him and just got caught...did the time feel sorry about it and we need him in our team ASAP.

BCCI has banned all their fixers from cricket.... They've also banned teams who were caught up in the fixing scandal.... I hate the BCCI as much as the next guy but at least they've taken a hard line stance against fixing.

As an Australian you may be happy to see us rank 9 in ODI and sliding down further but as Pakistan fans we have right to select best available players even though some of players already served their punishment.

And Srini was the head of BCCI whose son-in law was direct involved in corruption. BCCI was also responsible for crating Big 3 among 10 teams!!! Bravo!!!

Let them get their differences fixed and play together that's what I wanted to see and not Hafeez getting owned in every other thread.

You are right about this, it is not necessary if we like some one then we should hate those who are against him. Inzi, Ramiz has their own POV and we have our own, so better to respect every one's POV.

People will respect Hafeez if he honestly compete with Amir/Butt by performance not by blackmailing and taking advantages of someone down. He himself is cheater of chucking the balls and got away with this for long time.

People will also respect Ramiz if he criticize IPL set up and BCCI stance against Pakistan.

If they really want to be honest be it all the way not by selective way

You are not Pakistani so you will never understand.

Those Pakistanis that have lived in Pakistan know how things are run there. If you go into any government office, people will openly ask you for bribes to get anything done.

Cop pulls you over, you have to give him a bribe. You want to transfer land to your name, be prepared to give a bribe. Pretty much if you want anything done in a timely manner, you have to break the law.

Our politicians, police, businessmen, construction companies, etc... are corrupt beyond reason.

I am assuming quite a few Pakistanis on PakPassion don't even pay taxes.

Then these same people who give and receive bribes, vote in corrupt politicians, don't pay taxes, etc.. have the audacity to say an 18 year old Amir has sold out his country.

I don't like the hate for Hafeez.

He is a mediocre batsman who works hard to make the most of a poor technique on favourable surfaces.

The match up today was exciting because of Hafeez's undiplomatic comments. But it's enough that he lost the battle on the pitch. He doesn't deserve to be abused.

Who is this guy with a SR of 75 opening? I know Shehzad isn't great, but he's surely better than this guy.

Plus, I wanted to see Shehzad vs Shakib and Sunny. :snack:
