Bangladesh tour of UAE (2025) - [3 T20Is and 3 ODIs against Afghanistan]

What a joker this Jaker. What is the khet hala trying to do LoL. Absolute khet shot. Trying hard to lose this. Mental midgets
 
Bangladesh is doing Pakistani things here... all they need to stay calm and score single and doubles to get the target
 
wth is this lol. They simply dont know how to play the ball now. Normal spin nothing unplayable just normal deliveries and they are bottling it
 
Brain dead batting by Joker Ali, Shamim, And the set batsman tanzid who played a khet type push outside off
 
Well got the job done in the end. Made it tricky for themselves by playing some daft cricket. Nurul Hasan won it in the end.

Sohan is a good T20 player. Jaker just needs to fix 1 screw of his brain. Mushfiqur wasn't a good T20 player, couldn't do anything for us.

Nurul is good hitter. I think he just holds himself back for no reason I genuinely feel he doesn’t back his ability as much. It could be a confidence thing. But he has shown he can hit big shots at will in global t20 and bpl many times.

I think Nurul can't play spin well. He needs pace to do well.

It was why he was struggling against Pakistani spinners. Even today all of his shots came against pacers.

LoL Sohan won the match for us today but I still feel he's very average player. He can play shot that's for sure but he's brainless how he should choose to play the shots. Also I was overall thinking white bowl cricket. We need players like Shakib and Mushfiq at the middle order who did good job over the years for us.

He is rubbish against spin.

He is good against pacy bowlers only.

I think BD should select someone who can play both spin and pace.

Too many bowlers, need to add 1 proper all rounder. May need to bring back Shanto, if we keep collapsing like we did today and against Pakistan.
 
BD need to bring back Sabbir Rahman for finishing role. Even Mossadekk Hossain offers off spin, very handy cricketer. I know some people wont like but Sabbir is still good finisher, he had a good bpl last year too. Mossadekk currently doing well in NCLT20.
 
In the absence of LKD. Nurul or Taskin should have been made captain. Jaker isn’t it, aint even stable in his slot, aint experienced enough. Nurul captained Rangpur to global t20 tournament win.

Mossadek has gotten lot of chances. He wasnt done anything meaningful in whatever chances he has gotten in LOI. However, BD do need an allrounder in the middle. So instead of 6-5 Test match style combination, they need 6-1-4 combination.

Mosaddek! Yup.

Where did he disappear? LOL. I remember he did great against NZ in CT group stage. BD ended up winning that game.

Mosaddek can hit well also.

Sabbir is probably old now. Don't think he should play now.
 
Bangladesh secured a four-wicket victory in the opening T20I, overcoming a dramatic middle-order collapse triggered by Afghanistan skipper Rashid Khan’s fiery four-wicket burst. Despite losing six wickets for just nine runs in a chaotic 25-ball stretch, Nurul Hasan and Rishad Hossain held their nerve to guide the hosts home with eight balls to spare.

Chasing 152, Bangladesh got off to a flying start thanks to Parvez Hossain Emon and Tanzid Hasan, who put on a 109-run stand in just 11.3 overs, both registering half-centuries. Emon scored 54 off 37 before falling to Fareed Ahmad, who had earlier dropped him on 27. But the breakthrough didn’t bring much celebration from Afghanistan, given the dominance of the openers.

Then came Rashid Khan’s magic. He broke through with a ripping googly to bowl Saif Hassan, and two balls later dismissed Tanzid Hasan for 51, as the left-hander edged behind. In his next over, Rashid trapped both Jaker Ali and Shamim Hossain lbw in quick succession — Jaker missing a sweep and Shamim caught deep in the crease trying to flick. Noor Ahmad then got into the act, trapping Tanzim Hasan lbw, leaving Bangladesh in deep trouble.

With only Nurul and Rishad left as Bangladesh’s recognised batters, the game tilted in Afghanistan’s favour. However, the pair kept their cool. Nurul, recovering from a scratchy outing against Pakistan in the Asia Cup, struck two crucial sixes in his unbeaten 23. Rishad, who had struggled for form, found his timing just in time, sealing the win with his third boundary.

It was a nervy finish to a game that Bangladesh looked to have won comfortably at one stage, but they ultimately emerged victorious with eight balls to spare.

Nurul. Joker is a major flop in tournaments. Nurul made crucial brilliant dive-stop and run out against Afghanistan in the asia cup at that stage, that was the turning point. Also added quick runs towards the end in the match when the Joker was playing test innings.

Sabbir is 33. Still a clean hitter, got the fitness. Misbah came back at 33yo 2007 and went onto do a lot remaining of his career. Age is just a number.
 
Nurul is a match winner. He will not win you every match ,he will flop sometimes and win you sometimes. I want to put my money on Players who can win matches in tough situation.

You only need one WK. Rest should be allrounders or proper finisher. Sadly in BD our WK are better hitter. This guy Mahidul Ankon is also good. Last year BPL he had one of the highest SR.
 
Tanzid and Emon will go into hiding once tournament starts, because in tournaments you face SSA, Chameera, Bumrah not Abbas Afridi, Karunatre, or Kamboj.
 
Jaker Ali’s last 7 innings in T20I’s he has a strike of under 100 in 5 of them innings. Madness. And this blind, leg sided wild slogging-hack is the standing captain of BD in absence of LKD.

Why win the toss and bowl first against Afghanistan?

They thrive as a side with runs on the board

Just bat first, put 150 on the board and watch them implode!
