Sri-Lanka should understand that our batsman are not as liable to the short ball as other SC batsman. Apart from Nasir and Momin, everyone are good against the short ball-unless you are talking about playing MJ/Steyn on Gabba/SCG.

Its seam movement that worries our batsman. Need to bowl full

Prasanna Jayawardene's father passed away :(

Innalillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun

I think we have one of the better middle orders in world cricket-does not help that our top order is filth

Uditha: "I don't understand why they are not using DRS in proper way, I mean for some matches they use DRS and some they are not. A game must have standard."

BUT BUT...........WE ARE POOR :(

Shehan: "fully agree with Uditha. The ICC must have a standard rule for all countries. The cricket game is having so many rules country wise"

Will be nice if someone pays for our DRS :P

Surprisingly a sporting pitch by Bangladesh but throwing wickets away is till unacceptable and will cost us.

Yet another Sahara Cup series by Bangladesh??? :))

Bangladesh's top order looks too inexperienced. Naeem would've made far sense than that Marshall guy who is not making his chances count. Poor batting. Sri Lanka pacers bowling well.

Matthews needs to keep calm and stay cautious!

Lanka would be happy so far , despite bowling so many boundary balls , yet lanka in control

That was poor from our batsman.

Wanted the team to score 400+ against a not so quality bowling unit.

We scored 650 against you guys not a year ago and crossed 500 last year against NZ. So we have the ability to score big.

That was a one off more than the depiction of who they are. Bangladesh doesn't have a good bowling lineup and I could see SL making 400 plus pretty easily. Bangladeshi batsmen don't know how to play a test it seems. They act as though it is a One Day with infinite overs. That kind of play is unsustainable. The BD youth really need to focus more.

Well I agree we play tests like ODIs.

A perfect role model will be Dravid. If our batsman had the mentality of Dravid, and other top test batsman, we would have done much better.

Sri Lanka bowling certainly improved after vaas took over the coaching role. Its no longer dependant on Herath. Eranga has been bowling really well on flat tracks by persisting with good line and length. Bangladesh does have a good middle order, it's the temperament they seem to lack. I suggest having a coach who these young players can look upto as a role model can certainly help.

Not surprising, Mushfiq is a mediocre keeper, can't have a test match without couple of drops from him.

You're going to have even less money to pay for DRS if the BCCI's revenue distribution model goes ahead. Better start setting up lemonade stalls at the matches :D

Haha new guy following the proud tradition of the Rubels/Shahadats of getting a wicket off a no-ball :)))

SL may be looking to bat just once and score 1000, then put BD in on day 4
