Haris is good player but nothing special. Can become speciel, but he do not hit bad bowls out of the park like Kholi.

I wasn't talking about dropping Sarfraz. And it's nice to see some competition for the opening spots. Hopefully that will force batsman like Shehzad to work harder and improve his attitude.
 
after this defeat if waqar yunis says we are learning ....then its rubbish... no one can learn after getting defetaed by minnow team...they are still minnow.

Shehzad would have done nothing to stop this, to be honest. He's a decent opener but not the guy who'll change our batting fortunes around.

Problem with Pakistan is that players dont get enough chances at their desired position. So u need to take any chances that u get. Umar was given few games at number 4 but he didnt exactly light the world on fire. Even for lahore lions hafeez used to play umar at 4 during the first matches of champions league. But he failed and hafeez dropped him to 6 again.

Now look at haris, he was once played below afridi at number 8 as well. Then he was given a chance at 3 against NZ last year and he is doing just enough to stay there. Dont forget haris is very new and still learning at intl. level.

In short you get a chance, you should take it as early as possible.

How would a review change that decision? If the impact was outside the line, it still would have been Umpire's call. I didn't see the dismissal though

Who said Ajmal never chucked ?????? At least we don't cry after losing games and our PM doesn't call conspiracy when we are in the wrong. Nobody questioned Ajmal's ban because everyone knew he had a bent arm. The only argument that was going around was the fact that the process of testing was all shadowed in darkness and nobody knew what the process comprised off.

Please get your fact straights before going into an argument and now don't shed tears on my answer

Please dont compare umer akmal with hariss sohail.....Umer is best pakistani batsmen at this point.

No need to get worked up... Just stated how I see it from side on. He played matches against Zimbabwe (in BD) and also couple of games in the world cup since the new law but did not get reported. Clearly international umpires have a much more trained eyes than you and me.

I didn't see the dismissal live either but cricinfo says that it struck outside the line of off-stump. It wouldn't be umpire's call if the impact was outside.

No the impact was outside the line of off stamp and had the batsman reviewed it, it would have been over turned. It wasn't an umpire call.

You can always expect that when Pakistan is playing. They have a terrific bowling line up with an equally atrocious batting order
