What's new

Bangladesh vs Pakistan | 2nd ODI | Dhaka | 19th April | Pakistan Innings

A little improvement and Wahab could be a genuine allrounder for us. Would solve many problems if he becomes good enough to bat at 7.

I think with the bowling attack Pakistan has this is a very very good target.

How selfish. Rather than attacking he gives the strike to a tailender to remain not out

why **** player tired after doing 50+ while look at bngali boys after 100+ they were eager for more. (pardon my language)
drink some milk not pepsi

LOL at rotating strike

Are you dumb or simply like to act like one? Did you see him in CLT20?

Even in his game, he has batted at a good clip without playing big shots. Taking singles/doubles is his strength.

What's wrong with you?

Nasim is not a finisher. His only strength is rotating the strike in the middle overs. He is an okay option for 4/5 but I think for 6/7, you need someone with power hitting.
It's as if we have power hitters batting ahead of him.... We only have one dimensional batsmen in the team and same goes with our bowling too...

Was his first game as captain.

You want him to emulate Imran in his first game as captain?

What do you see in Wahab that tells you that in his first game he will be captain better than Azhar? Aggression?

Even Afridi looked aggressive, but had 05 fields in the boundary when it comes to captaining.

So your statement is entirely holey and not seriously acceptable at all.

First game as captain in international level. he was totally clueless and spineless captain in domestics .Was seen shouting and arrogant on to the bowlers and fielders instead of keeping the fright field. similar situations were he allowed the opposition to get settled instead of attacking when the team were on top. Wahab is intelligent. He knows to set the field according to his bowling. his bowling, batting and fielding ability tops Azhar's mediocre batting worries

He needs to improve his technique big time to be a regular contributor with the bat. Plays with very hard hands and never seems to pick up variations from the hand. Can really belt the ball when it is in his zone.

Seems like you logged onto the wrong account Mamoon. Knew you was Dr_Bassim

Yes.

Instead of actually saying you were biased, trying to show that I am somehow Mamoon.

Can expect more top quality posts from you.

Keep going :14:

Not really a great score but could've been a lot worse. Bangladesh has been pretty consistent in their past few games.

Pakistan batted 50 overs without Misbah . How is that even possible :O??? Definitely Misbah might have batted in the middle which we weren't able to see with our naked eyes!!!

We played at the end. 240 is a winning score on this pitch. Expect Pak to win this game with a humdinger on the cards for the 3rd

What do you mean? :moyo

I have not spoken against him. I called him a useful utility cricketer before today's game. If saying he is no Smith then that doesn't count as speaking 'against him'.

If you want a world class player in him, you will be disappointed, but he will come good more often than not in such situations because he has a cool head.

just kidding

...let it go man. He retired.

I can't believe people are gloating over the fact that we managed to bat 50 overs against a team like Bangladesh.

Yeah, as I said he needs to improve a bit. But it's good to see we have a bowler who takes his batting seriously. And he is a good fielder too!

Really beginning to respect the guy. Gives his 100%.

Do you have to take a shot at Misbah in every post? He is retired. Move on man.

Wahab is the closest thing we have to a world class player.

It's sad really.

If he could have been more consistent, he could have really been best we had.

Somehow I don't expect him to last till next World Cup.

The most important player nowadays.

Yeah, he's our best player.

If :sohail was a better bowler, we could have had a really strong tail. I personally like his batting.
