Bangladesh vs Pakistan | Asia Cup: Super Four | Abu Dhabi | Sep 26, 2018 | Pakistan Innings

Spare that hate mate. Iman hadn't even played 5 balls before 2 wkts fell. Only in Pakistan one player gets the blame of everyone's wkts.

I didn't say any of that, you just assumed everything lol.

I just pointed out Imam can be bogged down by bowling a tight line. That's what Mashrafe's plan is and that is why he brought himself on, since he started his spell the runs have dried up and Imam is now 10 off 30 deliveries.

Lol Pak fans.

Pak batting faster than the posting here which is crawling pace. Fairweather boys will be jumping up and down when Pak win

Agreed. What do you make of Hafeez as a player? He is a pretty clean hitter of the ball and I feel he'd serve better at 6 than Asif Ali.

No thanks Hafeez is past his prime and since he has been away from the team long enough the fans suffer from foggy memories.

If Asif Ali isn't good enough for no.6 than look for better alternatives but not TTF.

Its funny how many random BD and Indian posters have suddenly started posting. Wonder if they will still be here after a couple of hours?

Hafeez’s time is up, but I think he is better suited to whatever the role the likes of Shadab, Asif and Nawaz etc. are pretending to play at the moment.

I so miss the days when Afridi used to practice his shots on Bangladeshi bowlers

everyone is looking sweaty. its very very humid out there. Even in fujairah (which is 250 km away from abudhabi), weather is very humid.

Malik is one of the most underrated/under-appreciated players we have ever had.

No knee jerk.

Why can't we find Good batsmen like India who score piles of runs like Rohit or even Dhawan? Is it domestic pitch or not have talent?

Do something, BD. Champion Pakistani batsmen seem to be settling down and champion Pakistani spectators have started to find their voice again.

I would love to have Shehzad replacing our overhyped worth for nothing leader.

Sarfaraz is lucky his competition is with the likes of Akmal brothers. if he was competiting with Shahzad, he would probably lose his spot.

Lets be honest here, Imam is probably suited to be a good/solid middle order batsman in Test cricket only. Long way to go as an opener

we mostly have 2 gear batsmen, defence or blast. It can be relate to grass root level, where our players play with soft tennis ball and indian players play with hard tennis ball which is far better for stroke making, while soft ball is good for tullaybaazi.

Imam needs to improve his strike rotation. It will be difficult for him to improve his shot range for now but asking him to improve his strike rotation shouldn't be a big ask.

Pakistan does not have any more or less talent than other cricket nations. We over-sell our talent, but if you put a system in place the talent will follow.

India are far, far ahead when it comes to their professionalism. They have spread the game to all parts of the country, they have world class infrastructure in multiple centres and not just once NCA.

Their cricket culture and intelligence is so far ahead of us, and it is all down to the hard work of BCCI. We will never get anywhere close to India again. They have promoted themselves to a completely different league.

Sarfaraz-Akmal take over the wicket keeping spot is a disaster. Why didn't the PCB groom a 3rd option

BD 20/30 runs short and that missed run out chance might be very costly.

We are without our 2 key players. Shakib and Tamim.

Oh Bhai we know u guys r without 2 key players and that defense would have been valid had Bdesh not got such a terrible record with those 2 in the team. When your win percentage against regular teams varies between 5%-15%, then u don't blame absence of 2 players for losing another game.

Imam compensating his tuk tuk by coming out and hitting the ball in the air.

Risky stuff and in a situation where we do not need it.

He have Rizwan who isn't that bad. If Sarfaraz is to be replaced i hope its by Rizwan or even Umair Masood not ttfs like Akmal brothers.

I was wrong to ask for Malik exclusion. He should play till 2019 WC. Plays according to the situation.

Pak fans, I think Pak is going to win this. No jinx, I would want Pak to play against India than BD anytime. The thrill is a different level, whatever the result. It is like a roller coaster against Pak everytime. They lost quick wickets with self-imposed pressure, I think that stage is over. If these continue for another 10-15 overs and 50-60 runs, belief will come back.

Why should you groom back up keeper and pressurise the 2nd coming of Imran khan.

When sarfraz and kami bahi weren't good enough we relied heavily on Akmal Jr as a makeshift keeper instead of looking for a real option. This is what is coming back to haunt us.

It's also a case of who Pakistanis public or players decide to chose their role models. India loved Tendulkar, a humble and a thorough professional who worked hard for his success. Pakistan always loved flashy players like Afridi and Shoaib, in the long run flashiness is just that flashiness.

Lets see if Mani can do something about it!!!!

Yes after playing 2 high risk shots his SR is still 50. The plan almost worked, Mashrafe forced him to play a high risk shot which could have resulted in a wicket.

What is your point really?

Imam will play a match winning knock since Inzimam is in stadium today
#InspirationForImmy

Malik has to do it again. And again.... he has b3en shouldering the batting this tournament. Keep going sir!

That why blame the player who still hasn't got out. 3 of them came in and got out, so the one who's there needs only praise if u ask me.

Ask PCB why did they not select vice captain for two years. The reality is that they are not interested in taking pakistan cricket forward rather they want mr.specialist captain to be relax.

Bhai in that case it depends to much on them. As per your stat BD's poor winning percentage will get more poorer if these two missed out any games as they are the two batsman out of three batsman who have scored more than the 60% of the total runs BD scores. Lets be realistic Tamim,Shakib and Mushfiq are the backbone of our team. We all know that. In fact Shakib was reluctant to come UAE to play as he was battling with injury and would gone for surgery but our management requested to him for playing this tournament.

If it was up to PP, everyone besides Malik and Junaid would find themselves out of the team by now.

Mate with all due respect, he can bat but I would'nt think he is any better than most tailenders around the world these days

No thrill to win against a team who surrender even before the match. Even HK played better than us against India.
I think the charm of India vs Pakistan has long gone. You will see in near future these matches will not sell all tickets.

These 2 have done a good job. I hope 1 of them will accelerate at the correct time. Don't want to leave too much for the last 10 overs.

If Shakib and Nazmul were bowling Pakistan would have been in real trouble. Pakistan is lucky.

... and even India Women's matches (streamed live on Youtube sometimes) to see how they get "praised" by Pakistanis. I'll admit that the Pakistani presence is permanent there irrespective of the opposition and who's winning.

I do partly agree with the statement of Pak being submissive, if that is the right word, of-late. But if you look at Indian team, post openers , that is as hollow as you could get. It is only that Pak could not penetrate. The likes of dead wood are the best you could get for boosting bowler averages, they are like santaclauses before December. Any way, do not lose hope....that is only thing that kept mankind survive from dark ages till present day.

:four

After long time.

Pakistan need a boundary every 3 - 4 overs to keep run rate under control.
