Batting strike rates in ODI for the last 2 years (country-wise breakup)

Top 6 mirror top 6 in ICC team rankings!

You are right. Your bowling can be crappy and still be a no.1 team. Look at the Economy rates with ball for each country during the same perido. England and Australia have awful ER

Just goes to show how much batting is dominating the modern game. Even the averages are horrible. Is it even worthy of creating a good bowling attack these days? Mediocre is more than enough when your top six batsmen can hit a few into the stands, eh?

Then post that by team pls?

England have been and are monstrous. Very interested to see how they do in the Windies.

That's why it's troubling to see Pakistan go in with a middle order of Hafeez, Malik and Sarfraz! Two Budday Babbay and WK batsman that can't bat. We need proper batsmen from at least 1-5, then we can maybe look to challenge the top teams.

Yeah good point. We really need to find some good young talent in the batting talent. Apparently our LOI team is young but with these guys in our middle order it doesn't feel young.

That's good we just got to out things together in the same game and be more consistent

England is head and shoulders above the rest, it's going to be a nightmare facing their batsmen on English pitches for most teams. Although I suspect they will collapse in elimination rounds...
