He himself was bowling regularly in Pentagular Cup and President's trophy (AHEAD of front-line bowlers) and was saying he is an AR. He bowled 1 over, got smashed and then didn't bowl again.

It is clear why he gave up leg-spin at the age of 22 and took up batting, problem is he is rubbish in both.
 
We are proper minnows in ODIs. Those writing this result off because it's a warmup should reflect on our ODI record since 2014. It wouldn't have meant much if we were winning proper matches.
 
This National disgrace is so catastrophic that the only Solution is to recall Imran Khan and make him the Captain!


Cannoy think of any other other option.

Was a warm up game nobody took seriously except the BCB side.
This was highlighted in the fact that.
A.) We bowled part timers throughout the game, Hars even bowled at the death :))
B.) The batting lineup was odd. Only the openers batted at regular spots. Heck, we had Asad Shafiq coming in at #10.:yk
 
BD has more aggressive captain than us and they give opportunity to right players rather than us stick with old defensive hacks
 
If we stop playing Tests in UAE and cricket doesn't return to Pakistan, we'd struggle to hold onto our Test status.
 
We have to recall Haneef Muhammad Saheb and open in th next ODI, no other choice I am afraid!

Perhaps. On SC pitches though we should be looking to make bigger scores once we have such a solid start from the openers. Under 270 is always chaseable.
 
Not surprised at all.

When we have a yes-man phoney captain who is not deserving of a spot in the team - this was bound to happen.

Recall Shehzad and drop Azhar Ali - make Wahab/Sarfraz captain before any further damage is done....
 
That BD kid looks better than their national one :)) It actually does look nice!
 
Yasir Arafat and Ajmal are not Intl level anymore; we are wasting our time. Bring in Zafar. Bring in Babar and Umar Akmal should not have been dropped. We lack fire-power and have a defensive line-up.

Pretty sure you said the same about Nassir Hossain :)) the only guy I rate in your team is Mushfiqur Rahim, quality player who can adapt to all situations and a very likeable person.

The hollow, delusional arrogance is pitiful; not even laughable, but I'm glad that you feel good about yourself.
 
Batting is the main worry still.
Strike bowlers were OK considering the fact how they were used.
Sarfraz at down the order is a waste.
While they were testing Ajmal, Yasir and part timers, it was strange to see Sami Aslam not been given a chance.
Ajmal may look finished but lets wait till the end of the series.

So you are saying that;

Azhar wanted to see Haris bowl under under pressure (why would you want to see that is beyond me) at the expense of losing a match against the BCB XI??

If that is the case he should be sent packing right now.

Our team is very good. We have world class talent. Saad Nasim will soon be compared to Virat Kohli.

M Rizwan will set the world on fire. We have exciting talent coming guys. Hold your horses. We have great cricketers coming through led by a champion captain Azhar Ali who has a great ODI record.

The problem with Misbah-Azhar-Waqar fans is they love to live in the world full of denial. They just keep waiting for the bus that will come. Instead of looking for other way of transport they keep waiting and waiting and criticize anyone who tell them your bus isn't gonna come.

Waqar is failed coach. Azhar will never make a good ODI player let alone captian. Saad Nasim and Rizwan and Asad do not belong to the ODI side. Ajmal is done.

These things are true no matter how bitter they sound.

Yeah, but we beat India and SA in 2013. Gotta love how Pakistani cling onto 2 year old performances, while for competitive teams, you are only as good as your last game.

Someone like Steve Smith will be dropped by Australian selectors if he fails for a few months, irrespective of what he has achieved in the last couple of years.

That's the attitude that is lacking in Pakistan. We love to leach past performances to the last drop.

As the misbehavors and selfie-takers were beating teams left right and center?
 
Pak are a young team. It will take them time to adjust.

Bangla are a dangerous team at home. Especially with the discovery of new talent like Soumya and the rising star Mohmadullah.

Bangla are a better ODI team than Pak. In Tests, it is useless as the pitches will be roads anyway.

Pak are a better T20 team in general. But at home Bangla are no pushovers.

Now I have heard it all. The next time Bangla defeats SA or gives Australia a run for their money in their home ground then let me know.
 
7 overs were bowled by people who don't even bowl for Pakistan on a regular basis. None of our premier bowlers Junaid, Wahab and Rahat completed their quota and still they only managed to win by 1 wicket.

Stop wrist-slitting. All of you will be humming another tune when the first ODI ends.

This series is played in Bangladesh. Bowlers will not be doing great on Bangla pitches.

This. One only needs to look at batting order and bowlers to see that it was a pure practice match.

I'm just thrilled about Fawad, can't muster up anger about the loss.

What a fickle bunch. Everyone hating Azhar, ignoring Sarfaraz did even worse (including those who called for him to be captain). Claiming we want young talent to be given a chance and then moaning when they lose a practice match experimenting with some. Haris bowling tells you they didn't want to overtire wahab and junaid. Did ajmal do poorly?
 
The way our cricket is nose diving soon we have to play with associate to compete main round tournaments. Teams like Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Ireland and Scotland are progressing faster than WI and Pakistan team.

Wahab and Junaid couldn't finish their quota because the game was won 7 balls before..:))):)):)))

Rahat 9

Ajmal 8

Unfortunately we lack of talent players, better coaches, unbiased formers and honest PCB officials. So its normal

Been reading your posts, you seem to come across a genuine fair fan, bro respect. Unlike most Pkistani fans and others, who are so arrogant and laugh at anything BD does, whether they win or lose.

There was no express pace used something Abul, Rubel and Taskin has and rest were spinners who are inferior to Shakib.

His point is that 7 overs were bowled by part timers including some at the death.Now this does affect the scoring rate in spite of how many overs were bowled by the strike bowlers.
