Interesting.
Ironic considering how Coke goes for more of a family friendly approach, while Pepsi goes for a teenage approach.

FATA is no-go area. Dont even think about it.

Or just opt for water.
Of-course.
Since the thread has been derailed, is Karachi safe to travel to ?
Yeah it's perfectly safe does not even matter if you are a Punjabi. Karachi is a diverse city and there are more Punjabi's in it than 11ShadyBrothers cares to think.
My father got kidnapped by MQM once in karachi. Please dont try to lecture me.
What!? Hope he came back safe.
It was during the 90s. Was sent on a government assignment. He came back safely.

I don't think it is on either extreme of being too dangerous or perfectly safe and more likely in the middle.
Yeah it's middle my brother has never had an incident of mobile snatching in Karachi
Ironically he got mugged in UK.
Mobile snatching is common in Karachi, I still wonder how I got away with it.
Are you saying you snatched someones mobile?
Lol.
Any tips on avoiding this ?
Are you saying you snatched someones mobile?
Keep your mobile in one of those zip pockets that you can see at all times. It's difficult for someone to take your phone then.
Good, that is how you play with words.
I'll only be in Karachi for about 12 hours across 2 days, so won't be roaming the streets or walking in a densely populated area.
If you aren't walking around so much then I think you should be good.
You said "I still wonder how I got away with it" while talking about Mobile Snatching, so I asked a question.
I meant that I find it hard to believe I got away with using my phone on roadsides etc.
Okay then. Thanks for answering my question.

It's a rural town about a couple of hours from Mirpur in AJK.
Have fun.
Thanks.
Also hope that you're enjoying your time on here as well.
Thx although I've been lurking on this forum since 2011 haha.
Wont recommend esp if you are a punjabi.
As a Punjabi born in Karachi, and someone who visits every couple of years, there's nothing to really worry about

Oh sorry saw this after posting, your views are understandable then.
Also if you are a punjabi then why angrypathan ?
You prolly we born in a well off area. My khala also lives in Karachi and she lives in what you consider an upper class area and is safe. But ask yourself that can you go to localities like Layari and come out safe?
Born in lower-middle class area, which as it happens is now almost an MQM hotspot, so thank god for moving , now family in more upper class areas. True, although to be honest I don't think even many Urdu speaking people would feel all that safe in some localities like Layari.
12e username, can't be bothered creating a new account
Thread is about beards, not Karachi
My Khala is married to an urdu speaking family and they are very nice people. Nothing against urdu speaking or Karachites. Its the cancer MQM which is DANGER. Thankfully, rangers have been able to kick their behinds successfully in recent months.
Gonna trim my beard today.
Random but at-least it's back on topic.
Mamoon would be horrified.Yeah, was reaching borderline caveman.

He might grow a hair or two.Mamoon would be horrified.
Out of interest, are you Pathan ?
He might grow a hair or two.
What made you ask that? Curious.

I'll divulge if you answer.
No. I am not pathan.
Was going to meet one so thought I could get some insight into how to interact etc.
Hey. I look like one tho as per my ex bae.
If shes the mod squad pathan. Be normal. If shes the religious one. Be careful.
Afridi would be proud.
Shezzy might get jelly.

What do you mean by careful ?
Offer her a drink before you start a conversation just in-case. Make sure it's not in glass though.
Lol, not sure how it got to this but anyway OK.
What do you mean by careful ?
Careful because Pathans are quite hot blooded and if she has brothers and if they catch you hitting on her, you might end up getting beaten up.
On the other hand, no brothers but shes religious then you just be careful generally because most religious bandis dont like what you call flirt talk and she can actually report that to her mom. So tread carefully.
Be a nice bacha in front of a religious bandi. But be confident. Some people in order to show they are nice end up showing that they are not confident by acting shy and all.
Just pulling your leg.
Thanks for the pointers.
Smiley = light hearted comment.
Let us know of the mission's progress lover boy.
Let us know of the mission's progress lover boy.
This is just for casual fun, I've committed to one but her parents (mostly her father) are relenting - doesn't want his Pathan daughter marrying a Punjabi.
Sad.
Meh, gotten over it and there's still a chance, minuscule may it be, for it to happen.
Hopefully you will get someone you want in the end.
As long as you have God with you, you don't need anyone else but yeah InshAllah and may it be true for everyone.
OT, I have a small stubble.
This is the only post in the last page thats even remotely close to being on topic, everything else is off topic and really random
