Best Bio Secure Bubble plan going forward for international teams the PCB should adopt

Apparently the bio secure bubble plans being implemented by the NBA, English Premier League are being considered the best in the world right now. Obviously the cost is exorbitant i.e. $160 million which the PCB is not going to be able to afford. The PCB it appears has taken a leaf out of how the BCCI managed the Bio Secure bubble arrangement in the IPL in the UAE. However the cases in the UAE i believe are lower compared to countries like Pakistan and India. India has gotten cold feet after witnessing what happened in the PSL and have decided not to allow any spectators in the IPL which is strange because they did allow spectators in Englands tour to India recently.

Now the PCB has to be very careful not go so overboard where they literally lock the players in a complete prison. Wherever they decide to have the bio secure bubble, they need to ensure that the players have every available outlet and diversity available i.e. a wide variety in cuisine from desi food to western cuisines, gyms, film theatres, video games, golf courses, swimming pools.

Maybe the PCB needs to look into booking the entire Dream World Resort for all international teams, PSL where the security guards, drivers, the cooks, commentators, franchise owners everyone will be a part of this bio secure bubble for the entire duration of the tour and no one else outside this bubble

The PCB is now looking to outsource this Bio Secure bubble to a foreign firm which is a good idea as it will ensure neutrality and impartiality in its implementation. Any player or official who violates the bubble should be sent into a seperate isolation outside the bubble and then should be put on the flight home immediately.

Players should also submit themselves to daily testing or testing every second day. This i believe is the best possible plan. Let's here what else people can come up with

Dreamworld resort is actually a very good idea. I don’t think $160mill would be the cost as the nba bubble was for multiple large teams, their families, etc. They pulled out all the stops for the nba bubble, psl would be much cheaper.

Dude, the next team touring Pakistan is in October if I am not mistaken.
And by that time, almost all will be vaccinated and hopefully we will see the backend of this pandemic.

We don’t need to cater such idiotic people with in house theater and world cuisine and night clubs.

This is true but you also need to be sympathetic to the mental health implications for players, officials, impact on their family life if they are continuously in bio secure bubbles for 5-6 months in a year during various different tours.

In order for a bio secure bubble to be successful, you have to put the players in a location, facility which offers every luxury and escape possible

Lol, Apparently the PCB is considering appointing security guards and officials outside the rooms of every players, officials in the PSL, Pakistan Cricket team's assignments going forward to ensure each and everyone in the Bio Secure Bubble follows rules, guidelines and there are no violations, no uninvited guests outside the Bubble going in and out, no one bringing food outside the bubble to the players. A bit Draconian but if that is what it takes to keep everyone safe then so be it.

In India, there is a slow increase in the number of cases and talks going around about staggered lockdowns coming up. Kids have board exams, so cases will increase.

In the case of the IPL and India's Aus tour, teams were staying in hotels that were wholly booked only for them and the staff. Isn't that why the WTC final has been shifted to a ground that has a hotel within? You can't have a bubble if transient guests are also allowed in the same hotel.
