Yes you are wrong. And you don't have to sit on cricinfo to infer that. Just watching some matches will do.
Ishant is called unlucky in his test bowling where he bowls similarly. Short of good length on a decent line which leads to him looking good but no wickets.
His one day economy is on the higher side due to lack of death bowling skills (and hence why he was replaced once Bumrah came into the picture). His opening overs were similar to Amir's where he misses the edge a lot.
I've seen enough of both bowlers thank you very much, enough to deduce that comparing Amir and Ishant was your mistake.
Different bowlers, and a difference in quality.
