Breaking Bad [SPOILER ALERT]

Hank has figured it out alright. Like GA said, the flashback confirms it and then the look on his face as the scene ends.

I find it a bit perplexing though that Walt would leave that book in the washroom like that. I mean after all the precautions, he makes a careless mistake like this. Hmm..

I think security cameras at hanks office will have a great role...I am sure that would be the first place hank would go

Just caught up.

Show continues to amaze. Top stuff.

These last eight episodes are going to be something special, I can feel it. :yk

last season of BB ?????????

That is what the producers are saying.

They will be fitting in as much as they can in this last season. They will be looking to wrap things up.

However, if there is scope for more, they will look at another season but it seems remote.

sounds like a good plot for the next season

Had quite the Breaking Bad marathon...seen all 5 seasons this week and yeah what a show...just wished I'd done this marathon next summer so I didn't have to wait till then...its been a while since iv seen something this suspenseful...

SPOILERS...

Cliffhanger for Season 5 was the logical one...I wonder what Hank does now..I really do hope Walter gets caught...I've increasingly as the series has gone one come to abhor his character...he's brilliantly written but he is scum...its incredible how the show has managed to transform his character so much yet make it believable...

Jesse is easily the most sympathetic character as he actually possesses a moral compass of some sort...he actually has a degree of compassion and regret...I do hope he finds out about Walt poisoning Brock...

I miss Gus...Giancarlo Esposito is such a brilliant actor and he actually made Gus my favourite character...so much swagger...

Love Saul too...so much comedic value and hes actually a class lawyer...

Took me a while but really glad I found my way to this show...

oh chase is on no doubt but something else would happen. You can't be skeptical about your family member just because of his initials.

Hank isn't an idiot and the whole point of the flashback scene was exposing the fact that Hank figured it out...in fairness you don't have to be a cop to figure it out...why is Gale's book in Walter's house...

I do wonder how Hank goes about this...hes liable for a lot of wrong that has gone on through confiding in Walt and discussing case details which he shouldn't have been...he has a lot to lose from chasing after Heisenberg but he actually has scruples...hes not the pragmatist as we saw when he didn't lie about giving Jesse a beatdown...

I do hope Walt does go down...and ideally I hope its Jesse that does it...

it is easy to show swagger when you are acting for the camera...that is why we have so many macho men who look full of swag on TV...those who dont bat an eyelid when a gun is pointed to them..and who walk with outstretched hands shooting with both guns without looking at their targets...

real swag comes when you are full of confidence..and you know you can handle anything thrown at you..

Just finished all the 5 seasons in 6 days, i have to say the best TV series i have watched since PB.
But i don't understand one thing, why did Walt have to poison that Kid, i think Jesse would have still supported him if he told him that Gus was going to kill him and his family, and he did not have to poison the kid.
Unnecessary evil committed by Walter showing how much he has changed

He wasn't sure though, by poisoning the kid he got the full approval of Jesse

It was genius from Walter, evil BUT definitely genius

I can now read this thread without fear of spoilers, what a show. The way Walts descends to become everything he loathed is captured very nicely in the show. From a bumbling teacher to drug boss in the span of a few years, he doesn't seem to retain any of his old personality traits, manipulating even his loved ones. He is the drug game personified. It chews you up and spits you out but in the words of the wire ' the game stays the game'. You can't beat it and eventually it will conquer you.

The end of season 4 sees Walt get really power hungry. He becomes so blindly enthralled by power that he loses focus and forgets that it will eventually lead to his doom. It reminds me again of a scene in the wire where drug king pin Marlo is told not to go for the grown as whoever wears the crown ends up dead or in jail. Marlos response ' At least they wore it though'

That is exactly how Walt has ended up. Due to his past where he has been stifled and trod upon he wants to be the king at something.

Jessie on the hand just wants to live. He doesn't care about money or glory. He originally got into the drug game as an extension to his drug habit. He lost his moral compass after the death of his girlfriend but seems to have regained it. He has no attachment to the drug game itself.

Just in time for the last season! Think it starts in the next few weeks.

this is an awesome show

can you guys recommend any other shows? I have already watched shows such as LOST, Prison Break and The Walking Dead

Oh, cool, the top3 most overrated shows of all-time in one list. Just missing Spartacus :P

Re: Breaking Bad

Lol Spartacus is grossly underrated. People who don't watch it dismiss it as porn when it's a highly well-written show with an epic finale. BTW, creator of BB is Vince Gilligan. He is also famous for being one if the writers of several episodes of the X-Files.

BTW, check out Supernatural for a quality show. Scary, funny, tense, sad, sometimes in the same scene. So underrated it's criminal.

Breaking Bad

It's been so long since the last series I have forgotten what happens . I felt the way the last series ended was terrible it could have given us a little more .

I will admit that I didn't give it chance past season 1 but most fans tell me that it was the best season.

It's hard to take a show seriously with all the pointless sex and strange ketchup thrown around. I don't mind it much when it's done in a self aware, realistic or relevant to a well told story waybut there is none of that in that show.

Definitely more on the 300 side than on the Gladiator side.

Heisenberg becomes the big honcho of drug dealing, piles up the money. We have a time gap, everybody seems happy and we don't know whether Heisenberg is still dealing. Hank goes to the toilet, finds the book the lab assistant gave to baldie and we see a flash back that tells us he knows. Question remains, did he flush? We will find out in a month.

IMO, Season 3 achieved a pinnacle in terms of entertainment. The class of the villain, the battle of wits, the respect and admiration Spartacus and Crassus(the "bad" guy) have for each other but the recognition that they have to fight for what they believe in. It was just too amazing. There is a reason the grand finale is rated 9.7 on IMDB after 3000+ votes.

Who is more likely to rate a series finale? Fans or people that didn't like the concept on first watch?

The overal rating is not that great iirc.

Re: Breaking Bad

Yeah but 9.7 is still outstanding. Besides, the show is rated 8.7 which is pretty impressive IMO.

Super excellent show........9/10.

only reason its not 10/10 is coz of the damn SKYLAR.....hate that piece of lump

also you know what???? Science Pitch :jesse :asif

cant wait for the new series, should be epic

totally agree, spartacus was epic.

Breaking bad is the best show, ever.
1 Lightyear better than Game of Thrones.
Better than the Wire and PB.

This needs to start soon..and +1 to spartacus..was class till it lasted! There are censored episodes on your "friendly" websites.

Can't wait for this to return! Love the way Walt's character has developed into a uncontrollable monster. It's Jessie who you feel for in all this mess.

Can anyone else remember how this season started? Walt with a beard buying guns off a guy and putting them in his boot. Surely we'll see what that was all about soon.

can't wait for the last season!!!

Breaking Bad

Prison break the first season is probably the best ever for me but breaking bad is epic . I also really enjoyed the Wire it was a bit slow at times but that just added to as why it was so good .

The Wire was great as well.

Breaking Bad's 4th Season is probably the best ever.

My professor told me he knows a guy working in Hollywood. I was informed that the remaining episodes of the final season were shot in Germany, not Albuquerque.

Hmm, remember the lady telling she has connections in European meth market?

AGREED, my best show out of all of them.. Im on 5x17 at the moment

Breaking Bad was awesome.. waiting for the last season

That was Czechoslovakia if i am not wrong.

Finished 2 seasons in 5 days. 3rd on the way. Damn this show reminds me of first 4 seasons of Dexter. Though it is yet to reach Season 4 level which it probably will Season 3 onwards if it keeps going.

Just pulled down a nice 720p rip.

Excellent first episode, building things up nicely. I love the threat Walt gives Hank at the end. Hank clearly doesn't know who he is dealing with.

Yeah, they get uploaded more or less straight away after being shown, usually ready for download when I wake up in the morning.

I've got a Netflix subscription, so i'm not breaking the law by watching it early! :D

Haha
I usually wait until the season is finished and then watch them in a job lot . Anyways I am busy watching Suits atm .

Risky dude, very risky, it'll be spoiler city on the internet.

Aye, just downloaded it and watched it couldn't wait. The conversation that took place at the end was quite unexpected. I thought they'd draw it out a bit more.

Vince Gilligan said that he was originally going to give it a few episodes until Walt figured out Hank was on to him, but decided to bring it forward because of all the upcoming carnage.

Breaking Bad B****!

Can someone refresh my memory about mike? What happened to mike last season?

Can someone refresh my memory about mike? What happened to mike last season?

He tried to get out, told Walt a few home truths & Walt didn't like it and ended up shooting him. Walt & Todd dissolved his body in acid & pretended nothing happened.

POTENTIAL SPOILERS

cant believe its back after the waiting, breaking bad writers just come up with the best lines at the best times....

[UTUBE]zrTpmLk3by0[/UTUBE]

right up there with "im the one who knocks"

my addiction to this show is stupid, i never thought id get hyped for a tv show, cant wait to see how it pans out

I don't think Hank figured out anything. WW thing is too bizarre and ambiguous to get skeptical about your brother-in-law. They just wanted to leave audience wondering...

There is plenty of clues but the W.W. thing is what made it all click for Hank.

Walt suddenly getting all this cash
Skyler's behavior.
The purity of the meth and the fact that Walt is an excellent chemist.
The missing equipment from Walts old job at the school.
Much more.

I stayed away from this thread till i watched the episode. Walt is an evil genius. Played his BIL good but jesse got him all figured out !

Why is this such an awesome show!

Walter White: Say my name

Bad guy: I don't know?

Walter White: SAY MY NAME

Bad guy: H...Heisenberg?

Walter White: You GOD DAMN right

Wow, just wow. The way it ended. Speechless. Talk about keeping us on edge for the next 7 days.

I expected those guys to show up but wow!

The drive when Walter was speeding was intense and then of course it looks like we're in for all action the rest of the way.

Can't believe Walt fell for the picture. I was shaking my head the whole way.

Hank deserves to die because he poses himself as a good guy but still put Brock, Andrea, Jesse, Gomie and a whole lot of methead's life in risk because of his pride and will to catch a retired and dying guy.

At least that's the way I interpret it but, sadly, I get a hunch that the show wants us to empathize with Hank as a flawed hero when he doesn't have enough character development to be in that position.

This is something that applies to Jesse too and it makes sense since he wasn't supposed to get past season 1 so his development is a bit cyclic.

Character like Jesse and Hank are interesting and fleshed out on their own but the problem is that, in this season, the show opposes them to a much more advanced character that is WW, while placing them on equal footing.

Re: Breaking Bad

Final half of the final season has definitely lived upto its hype.

Can't predict what will happen. Will Hank and Jesse die? Will both? Will neither? Most likely Hank will die but I'm still wondering how exactly things will pan out for Walt given that we've seen those two scenes from the future (one at start of season and one at start of second half of season).

When did Hank put Brock and Andrea in risk?

Hank and Agent Gomez are going to Belize. Jesse will be kidnapped by the Todd and his uncle to cook for them.

But

as we have seen, walt is on the run in last episodes. If hank is in belize, who is walt running away from now?

I'm guessing somehow Walter's secret will be exposed to the public, if Hank does really go to Belize his wife will come forward about Hank's investigation and maybe Skyler will have second thoughts about hiding it any longer.

I think he's talking about Hank ignoring Andrea's call to Jesse. But that's wrong because Hank saw right through Walt's plan.

So you trust the guy who didnt know his brother in law was Heisenberg despite all the clues to make a judgement call about whether Walt will harm Andrea and Brock?

No, the truth is Hank doesn't care and he doesn't care if Jesse gets killed because it helps him catch Heisenberg.

Todd's uncles or maybe Lydia's contacts in Czech Republic.

Most probably the following will happen:

- Hank and Gomie die
- Walt is forced to cook for Todd's uncles. Jesse might be also part of this deal (Walt will change his mind on getting him killed after his capture).
- Eventually something goes so wrong that Jesse gets killed by Todd's uncles and also Walt's family.
- Walt escapes but everyone he loves/care about is killed (probably Marie too).
- That final episode shows Walt on the run from Todd's uncles and the final showdown will be between Walt and uncles/Czech guys.

Best episode of the whole series so far. Had everything. :akhtar
