Pakistan left-handed opener Nasir Jamshed was arrested on Tuesday by Britain’s National Crime Agency (NCA) alongside a bookie named Yousuf, Express News reported.
Jamshed, who is accused of referring Islamabad duo Sharjeel Khan and Khalid Latif to Yousuf, has been provisionally suspended from all forms of cricket on Monday by the Pakistan Cricket Board.
According to the representative of the NCA, Jamshed and Yousuf have been released on bail and asked to report to the agency in April.
“Two men in their thirties have been arrested by NCA officers in connection with bribery offences as part of an ongoing investigation into international cricket match spot-fixing,” read a press release on the NCA website.
“The men were arrested on Monday 13 February and have been released on bail until April 2017 pending further enquiries. As part of the on-going investigation we are working closely with the Pakistan Cricket Board and International Cricket Council’s anti-corruption units. The Pakistan Cricket Board has launched its own investigation which has resulted in the suspension of three players,” the statement further read.

Shahryar Khan speaking on TV:
"I have heard that Nasir Jamshed has been arrested though I haven't got confirmation."
"The PCB haven't done this but fixing is a criminal offence in England so they've been arrested, the same way that the trio was arrested in 2010."
"We have already suspended Jamshed and once we have evidence, we will take further action."
"Jamshed is from Pakistan but he lives in London, and I think Yousaf saab also lives there."
"Since they've done a crime according to the British law, they've been arrested. In Pakistan, we don't have these laws. The British police have done an investigation."
