Nz has jitters during their journey to semis... South Africa was a beast from start.... You think there is no difference???

Ignorent fool
South Africa is nowhere close to being as beastly as India was in 2023, where they crushed opponents 10 matches in a row. When Australia almost lost 3 matches and escaped by the barest of margins all the way to the final, there was so much Aussie suck-up since they beat India. Nobody talked about India being ultra-dominant for 10 matches. SA was hardly dominant here. They escaped from Afghanistan.

In T20, these things happen all the time. Anyone who followed even franchisee cricket would know. It is not necessary for one team beat another team all the time. On paper, they are close to each other. But in T20, on paper means nothing. Under the right circumstances, one-sided loss can happen to tournament favorites. I even mentioned before the last match that any team can absolutely wallop another when certain things go their way. England almost lost to Nepal. India was slipping up against the USA. Pakistan was one catch away from losing to the Netherlands. Even Italy fancied their chances against England. Afghanistan almost tripped up SA.
