Chances are very slim, Oz would need some serious disintegration to let Pak win this. What with a team comprising a past it Azhar who's basically injured because of his bad knee, Ifti Chacha, IK snr, ineffective outside Asia Yasir Shah and mental midget Asad?

Half the team are passengers and we're hoping to win let alone compete with Australia in Australia? Doesn't matter if it's a pink ball, red ball or yellow ball Test.

On a serious note Azhar would have been an asset for us in our last away season. One of the major reasons why we lost in SA and England was that we never had a settled opening pair, with over the hill Vijay, mentally shot Rahul and put Dhawan in the mix, it was a total disaster and we were almost always 2-3 down in the first hour. Kohli had to carry the batting single handedly in both tours, all he needed was someone to blunt the new ball and just hang in there with him and and that never happened. I truly think the reason behind Azhar's rather long rough patch is that he was never really mentally there to take the mantle from Younis as Pak's most dependable bat. Quite evident from his horrible approach in that UAE test match where Pak was a boundary away from winning and he bottled it spectacularly. Now with Kohli there at the other end absorbing all the pressure Azhar would be able to focus and do what he does best, spending time on the crease and some more of that, which was literally the most vital thing missing from our campaign and we paid dearly by losing both the series despite being on the top more often than not.
