With Sydney expected to offer some turn, can Pakistan end their streak of losses in Australia?

A draw is more of a consolation win for them and that is about it. The way it is looking and is going even that won't be avoided.

The chances of 3-0 is more likely than a draw or a win.

Sydney is being played as a rehearsal for Indian tour with 2 spinners. Pitch is expected to have plenty of turn. If Yasir bowls well then we should have a good match. Also, Pakistan batsmen will have more scoring chances with 2 spinners. It suits Pakistani batting line up. Misbah and YK should like it.

Still advantage to Aus due to Pakistan being mentally shot and off course Aus being a better team in Aus conditions.

Your proposing that Wahab should take the new ball?

It's strange, isn't it? If Pakistan want Australia to play two spinners, then why are Australia playing two spinners?

Also, good point about Sydney still being an Australian ground. Just because it's an easier venue for Asian teams than other Australian grounds, doesn't mean that it's easy for them. There is still a world of a difference between the UAE and Sydney.

Mainly because series is already won by Aus. I seriously doubt that if Pakistan had won 2nd test, we would have seen this talk of Sydney test being a rehearsal of Indians series with 2 spinners. Pakistan should like it here more than other venues, but it is still not UAE.

Just got here for the match.

All five days grey and overcast, like when Asif too 6-41 last time.

The attack this squad permits is totally wrong for the conditions.

It should be:

6 Sarfraz
7 Nawaz or Aamer Yamin
8 Amir
9 Yasir
10 Ajmal with licence to chuck in his final Test
11 Asif

Misbah and Younis both have been getting out to Nathan Lyon in this series. Both of them are sadly done against spin now also.

I think when Lyon is not seen as one bowler out of 4 where you can score, they may play better against Lyon. Still need to have a better mindset than what Misbah displayed during that horrible collapse.

No. Australia will make it three nil for sure. This mean's our tour of Australia and New Zealand will finish in losing all Tests.
