Lol any international stars would return or go to IPL. PSL would have domestic players and some IPL rejects and over the hill players getting a free pay day from PSL

Sorry, I missed this misinformed post.
Lahore Lions, with plenty of international players, beat a weak Mumbai team who were without Rohit.
The Mumbai had the following batting lineup:
Simmons
Hussey
Saxena
Rayudu
Tare
Pollard
That is a terrible lineup. Hussey is the only quality batsman in that lineup but this match was in 2014 and he was finished by then.
Any half-decent T20 side would walk over this awful batting lineup.
In comparison, Lahore Lions had Shehzad, Jamshed, Hafeez and Umar Akmal. A more than decent lineup especially for 2014 and clearly better than Mumbai Indians’.
Mumbai had Bumrah but he was 21 year old at the time and nothing like the bowler he is today. He was not nothing special until 2016.
I stick by what I said nearly a year ago. Pakistan is a deeply mediocre T20I team and its ranking is the greatest work of fiction since Lord of the Rings. If Pakistan were to join the IPL as the 9th franchise, it will get whooped provided that the other franchises are at full-strength.
but the players that you have mentioned, weren't these players that were already there in our domestic set up?
because the thing is, the amount of small cricket leagues we have like hte ramazan tournaments, nigth torunaments and tape ball, we rarely see any PSL team bringing in a specialist T20 player.
Haris Rauf was one, and the other was maybe Sohail Akhtar
Man I hate to always destroy you but seriously you’re at a level of trolling that one can just laugh at and say how could this person sleep at night with so much mediocrity inside of him. Simmons one of the best t20 players who destroyed India in the semi final of a World Cup. Pollard unarguably one of the most devastating t20 players in the world. Mike hussey I don’t need to say anything. Malinga the best t20 bowler ever probably and he’s easily been Mumbai Indians best bowler ever. They even had Harbhajan for god sake and you have the audacity to name the likes of tare. Lmao you’re just hurt and jealous cause your trolling got exposed by that one game. The Pakistani players you named are mediocre players in t20s except Hafeez. The best players from Lahore’s side in that game we’re Imran Ali adnan rasool and Asif raza players who haven’t even played an international game for Pakistan. You seriously had the audacity to mention Sharma when that whole side was stacked and Lahore’s side was even on paper no where close to that Mumbai Indians side. We know you’re jealous about everything related to Pakistan but don’t even try to take the fact away from Pakistan that a bunch of Lahori mundey gave a nice whooping to India’s best IPL team and give you restless nights till date.
In a T20 game, any team can beat other on a particular day - I believe Mughabe’s ZIM beat Australia in a WC (?) game; Holland beat Poms .....some shop keepers & weekend club cricketers from Singapore beat Zimbabwe..... the very next game same ZIM beat Afghans.
Over all in a 7 game series any of 8 IPL teams will beat any of 6 PSL teams in between 6-1 to 4-3..... but they’ll definitely win the series. It’s like Baseball playoff - they play 162 regular season games just to make sure that after that many games, top teams will be filtered out for playoffs. And, playoffs are played in 7 game series to give best teams higher chances.
A Test match is something that one has to play really well to win, but not T20.
Lets be honest Big Bash is mile better than any other league. I was compareing the leagues around where did Pakistan come from? You seem to have phobia against Pakistan which I can understand.
Now ask any batsman if he likes to bat on a slow low batting track or bouney fast track, I am sure if you have little bit of knowlege you pick the low slow. IPL, PSL, CBL etc all the same. I am of course a neutral observer.

Destroy me? Are you talking about your ridiculous argument of proving that Cook has a better claim of being the best cricketer of the 2010 decade ahead of Kohli?
Your ridiculous argument was build on the false premise that Kohli only captained for 5 years while Cook captained throughout the decade, but then I educated you that Kohli actually captained for a longer period of time in the last decade compared to Cook.
You should be thankful that I even bother to reply to your posts and give you recognition. I dont extend that privilege to everyone here. However, if you dont learn to be respectful and dont learn how to talk to people, I will take that privilege away from you.
Now that your delusions have been addressed, let me answer your post.
The Mumbai batting lineup that lost to Lahore Lions is one of the weakest lineups an IPL team has ever fielded.
Hussey was a top player in his prime, but he was past it in 2014 and no better than the likes of Shehzad, Hafeez, Umar etc. at that stage of his career.
Simmons is good but his presence did not make up for the absence of Rohit, who was already one of the top Limited Overs players by 2014.
Furthermore, they were also without Corey Anderson, who was one of the top hitters in Limited Overs cricket at that time. He scored the fastest ODI century that year.
The middle-order of Saxena, Rayudu and Tare is just terrible. Do you even know who Saxena and Tare are? Yes Pollard was there but overall it was still a very poor lineup and any half-decent team (which Lahore Lions was) would easily brush that team aside.
They had Malinga, but even an all-star bowling attack cannot win you matches with such a substandard batting lineup.
You are judging the Lahore Lions team from todays perspective. Shehzad had a purple patch in 2013-14 and was a Pakistan regular, Umar was still a very good T20 player then and Hafeez was in his prime years. All three would have walked into that Mumbai lineup ahead of a past it Hussey and nobodies like Saxena and Tare.
Overall, that Lahore Lions side was better than the Mumbai Indians one when you remove the Rohit factor.
Mumbai was not the best IPL team that year. They won 7 and lost 7 in spite of having Rohit and Corey Anderson. If they would have played without those two, i.e. the team that faced Lahore Lions, they would have finished at the bottom of the IPL table.
