Personally I think he should feature in our white ball cricket, at least ODIs.

Thought you were one of the better posters around . . with statements like "they have fluked wins" when they sit at the top of the order and have won games convincingly, you lose all objectivity and credibility in your posts . . and begin to sound biased based on your likes/dislikes . .
I don't think many people will disagree with you that Shan isn't a t20 batsman and absolutely shouldn't be anywhere close to the Pak t20 team and I am sure he will never be . . but give credit where its due . .
The team is doing well when on paper they probably have one of the worst squads . .
Irfan, Tanvir, Imran Tahir, Afridi, Bopara are all 35 and above and way past their best . .
Ilyas is below average at best . .
Shan like you say isn't a t20 player . .
That's 75% of your team that's quite mediocre . .
So they've done well thus far and there's no harm in accepting that even though we all know you despise Shan Masood in all formats . .
As far as your prediction about "guaranteeing they won't win the tournament" is concerned . . hardly proving anything there . . they shouldn't be winning this tournament . . with the team they've got, they should be at the bottom of the table . .
Currently, they're punching above their weight . .
Shan Masood never looked good for captaincy. I am actually surprised to see him as a captain.
Are they punching above their weight? Sure. And it's obviously giving some posters a chance to celebrate and have some moments of joy, good to see Forum363 celebrating this.
But, it's still not a team I'd back to win anything important, i.e. the title of the tournament.
You have already seen calls in this thread to make Shan Masood the national team captain, get him in ODIs, etc.
This is what you get when you unfairly promote people who don't deserve something on merit, and even more worrisome, extrapolate something from the PSL and want immediate aftereffects in the national team, like the Shan Masood's fan club is doing here. "make him the captain!" , "get him in T20Is and ODIs!".
As long as Shan Masood stays out of the national T20 and ODI teams, I don't care much about what happens to Masood, as he's 100% not going anywhere from MS - good mates with the owner, and also was able to score.
This team is like Karachi Kings.
Some individual team victories sure, but won't win any tournament and not go through the play offs.
Ironic you talk about extrapolating something from the PSL yet that’s the exact reason you want Kami in the team.
And gone from captaincy - Mohammad Rizwan is the new captain

So has demotion to a regular player and carrying drinks helped Shan recover form?
