As usual the Big Mac gone early. way way overrated here due to his style of captaincy.

I always thought his captaincy was a bit ovverated, yes it's good to attack but at times you have to use your head when attacking and sometimes he would attack just for the sake of it. His batting is good when it comes off but at times he threw his wicket away but he has played some good test knocks. Overall a class guy and respectable player but not an atg player or captain

What does McCullum's batting form have to do with his captaincy? He's been on the decline for a while and hung it a little late IMO. He should have retired after the series loss in Aus.
