Hi all,

My lovely grandmother is reaching an age where going up and down the stairs in her home is turning into a huge challenge for her. Although she is just about managing, it is clear that is giving her a lot of discomfort.

Like many who have seen parents or grandparents reach such ages, it's a difficult thing seeing your loved ones, those who literally carried you when you were little, struggling like this!

Sometimes you can't do anything to help really, but in this case it occurred to me that there might be something that can be done. In the UK I had seen 'chair stair lifts' popping up here and there. An example of what I'm talking about

I've started researching stair lift providers in Pakistan, and it seems the tech is actually produced and shipped from companies in the UK / US. This is reassuring as that provides a level of quality assurance.

However, it is essential that the chair is installed properly and reliably. The one or two Pakistani companies I've spoken to seem to assure me they will be, but I find their pushiness to make the sale a little off putting (maybe there is an element of culture shock there).

Does anyone have any personal experience with having stair lifts installed in Pakistan, or know someone who has? I would really like to hear from customers. Any personal recommendations would be invaluable as I'm quite unsure how to proceed.

Thanks in advance...
