Hafeez , Shahzad, Azhar, Asad, Umar Akmal this side has better batting line up
 
Zulfiqar has strongly pressed for a claim. I would go for a 3 man spin attack and 1 pacer in Junaid or Irfan,Irfan was looking very threatening but I would go with Junaid because of his workhorse kind of attitude. Irfan can't do it alone.
 
When a completely out of sorts Hafeez can hit you for 2 impressive,lovely boundaries then you know you are bowling crap. :rahat
 
What a horrible pitch. No wonder we can't produce good batsmen. This is the start of the cricket season in Pak and this is a first pitch yet there is no bounce no carry no seam no swing nothing. Obviously Hafeez will look like a million bucks! If they wanted a true representation they should have played this match in Dubai, yes it would be more expensive but atleast you would have gotten an accurate picture. This pitch will tell you nothing.
 
How are Hafeez and Junaid in same team yet junaid is bowling to Hafeez!!!!
 
An absolute Phatta wicket is given so that hafeez, asad and azhar can score runs and cement their place against SA. No change, same team which played against Zim.
 
Irfan is now must for Test against SA , Rahat is looking dead infront of Shazad and Hafeez

So amin's team was given crap bowlers on purpose so that failures like hafeez and asad can score runs :facepalm:
 
:hafeez got 22 should be left out :shahzad is impressive so far but :azhar will make Robbie P legend again

Looks like no batsmen has made a stake to claim to be in current test side in this match so far.
 
Umar Amir is run OUT

He started to play better and now he run himself out tried for the third run was not there. Azhar Ali did not want to take the third one loud NOO but Umar Amin was already half way the pitch.
 
Amin needs to sort out his running between the wickets quickly.

So even in this game umar akmal is not on top five. I am losing hope now. Just had umar akmal play in the younis side.
 
The play has been extended for another half an hour.

Azhar Ali and Asad Shafiq looking better now.
 
It has been so far a good coverage of this match, decent commentary some ex domestic players being part of it

PCB should organize more of these matches before a start of a big tour. Not only is it good practice you will have some decent players playing together.

Azhar Ali just flicked the ball to the boundary

Score moves to 121-3 lead by 31 runs.

Younis side looks very weak...

Good to see Zulfi doing well, hopefully he'll be on the test squad to South Africa.

It's always looking for the balance with Pakistan extra bowler or playing an extra batsman as we struggle lately it's good to have an extra batsman.
