In Barcelona your average bar is Chinese owned. A while ago a reality TV show did a test and offered tapas/paella/patatas bravas (nothing more Spanish than that ) to their participants from a Spanish owned and a Chinese bar, they couldn't tell the difference some even preferred the Chinese food

Europeans are smart. They are not stupid and petty nationalists like us (so far, at least ). Instead of fighting and miserably losing to then Japanese and now Chinese manufacturing powerhouse they adapted and improved their population's lives.

Pakistan should do the same. Imran Khan wants poverty to end in Pakistan. It ain't ending magically. Millions and millions of people can't improve their lives from one day to other. Pakistan gonna have to trade with major local economies (China/India etc.).

Third round of military talks make headway: Indian media

Talks between Chinese and Indian generals in the Galwan Valley have made headway, sources told the Indian Express without elaborating.

Thursday's meeting was the third since deadly clashes late Monday into early Tuesday left 20 Indian soldiers dead. The newspaper reported that the talks have not yet lead to de-escalation at several face-off points along the border.

Those are savage, wood being heavy enough to impact the nails at least 70% into the body.

Not sure why they dont use guns, if you're going to kill it wont be an issue with guns but with such weapons it's comes across as barbaric way of combat. But India cannot be trusted, so not sure if this is true.

I have always said the Balakot strike's success was questionable, the building look practically the same after the supposed hit. I guess the Indians are saying the Israeli spice bomb would only damage the internals of a structure with the externals looking unaffected or something along those lines. I dont buy it, definitely some trees were casualties though... Then again at the end of the day, I could be wrong or correct so it is inconclusive..

My gut feeling is that Abhinandan missed the target and he hit the trees, there might have been a few human casualties which could have been normal civilians along with the trees, not the folks Indians intended to hit.

At the end of the day, it served neither side other than for bragging rights.

On India's side it was entirely politically motivated with no strategic objective really. Therefore even though it was a completely botched mission and pakistan came out on top, at the same time modi got what he wanted at home. He made losing a small battle part of a larger political victory.

I get the feeling he is doing that now with china.

If I am being objective, this is doing india more harm than good. Modi is prioritizing domestic politics over national security.

One thing I have to give my hats off to is BJPs control of their domestic media as well as internet warriors.

India continues to have a fairly free press compared to china, however pro government voice are so much louder than dissenting voices or alternative narratives that it sounds like the media is entirely controlled by the ruling party.

And it looks like they are redirecting some of the infrastructure set up for call centers previously as internet trolls. India's troll game is strong on social media.
