Congratulations to Multan Sultans on winning Pakistan Super League 2021

Brilliant comeback in the Abu Dhabi leg by the best team of the tournament. Really well balanced side with both Pakistanis and foreigners stepping up. They had the best batsman of the tournament (Maqsood), the best pacer (Dahani) and the best spinner (Tahir). I called it before the Abu Dhabi leg that Multan underperformed in Karachi and have what it takes to come back and win the tournament.

Nice gesture at the end from flower giving each player a hug and some wise words no doubt , happy for multan good comeback

Top stuff. Well done to Andy Flower, Rizwan, Mushi, Azhar and whole MS franchise.

An experienced, cool and calm Head Coach
Experienced coaching staff supporting the Head Coach
Excellent skipper who led the team brilliantly
Great team spirit
Fantastic blend of youth and experience in the squad

This tournament has been excellent for Brand Pakistan and Brand Pakistan Cricket..

Such a likeable team and captain. The most complete side by far, thoroughly deserved.

This is a good example of how a well oiled , disciplined and professional unit with a strong back room team not just a headmaster leading the way pulls through. If only Pakistans coaching setup resembled something as close to this we would be in a much better position. However let’s hope tournaments like this bring about a culture shift in our team.

Shoaib Moqsood for me has been the man in the last 2 games.

Dahani a little unlucky last 2 games but i'm counting on this kid.

Multan Sultan is by far the most professionally run franchise. I have a very good feeling that Andy Flower has brought his statistics driven mindset into this franchise. The results are already in front of us how a good think tank with freedom to execute plans could yield results.

What would I give to have Andy Flower and his team coach Pakistan! I can only wish for this.

Shahid Afridi getting injured was the biggest blessing in disguise for Multan Sultans. He was ruining the combination for Multan. He was a total passenger.

Interesting. A friend of mine said the same thing to me.

Summarised nicely! I have thoroughly enjoyed the professionalism of this unit, credit to the management for getting the best out of their players who lets be honest, outside a few, don’t send any shivers down your spine. Big credit to the inspirational leadership of Riswan to, fantastic cricketer! proper player, playing the game the way it should be, there’s a feel good factor about this team

He has done his case no harm. The PCB will keep him in mind in the future

Congratulations to Multan Sultans on winning Pakistan Super League 2021

Indeed, congratulations to Multan on a great team effort! In the end, it was their experienced bowlers, Sohail Tanvir and Imran Khan, who saw them through just when the game appeared to be going right down to the wire. Nothing can beat experience! Rilee Rossouw was awesome, as was Sohaib Maqsood. What sublime batting by the latter in the tournament!

We/I continue to wait for a nail-biting PSL final. For now, however, I´ll just take it as it is as a Multan supporter. Never an issue! :msd

Also, well played, Peshawar. I actually thought them to be the better of the two teams, on papers at least, but not to be on the day when it mattered.

Shoaib Moqsood for me has been the man in the last 2 games.

Dahani a little unlucky last 2 games but i'm counting on this kid.

Dahani is a good bowler but am still waiting for him to use his variations once he starts using his variations or develop his variations then he will be on another level.
