Yeah we were terrific, couldn't muster a half respectable total all series, failed to win two dead rubbers, couldn't take a wicket at crucial intervals and exhibited some of the worst top order batting in recent history, but aside from all that, boys genuinely outdid themselves

Great Win by New Zealand. Thoroughly deserved. Pakistan has largely been mediocre in this series but even when they showed some class, new zealand reeled them back in. Hard to win against the kiwis at home.
I am not sure which part I was jesting about? If it was NZ being the best team in the world, I think they are. I reckon we will see more of it when they travel to Australia.
Oh and if you thought I was kidding about Pakistan having played well, not really. They got themselves into a positon where the bookies had them favourite to win the fourth game and they needed just one batsman to show up to win the fifth. The second game could have been close too but for the rain. As whitewashes go, it was not too bad.

I think India, England and SA are ahead ATM. We might be on par with Aus who have regressed drastically since the WC.

Pretty good result despite not playing their best cricket.
Not convinced with Latham and Nicols, just hope the selectors figure that one out soon.

NZ odi side has been as good as any side in the world. They my not be the best side in the world but I think they are at similar level to whoever are in the top 3 sides in the world.

Nicholls did well in the 4th ODI to support CDG. That knock is quite underrated and should get him a longer run. Latham looks out of touch but he should bounce back. Still one of our better test prospects.

There are issues with everyone currently- India are struggling with their middle to lower order currently. SA same issue after the top4 nobody there to save a collapse. England tough to say but they haven't been tested in Asia. However, it will be a big achievement for England if they win the odi series in Aus this time( no other side has done it in a long time).

Great result for NZ and a whitewash too. Really impressed with Kane Williamson captaincy and also the form that alot of the key players gained after this series.
