Finishes with 4-23 in his spell with a lot of his deliveries exceeding 145kph and some reaching 148kph.

Bowled well at the death.

Finally, a bowler with pace and brains both.

Great bowling! Reminds me of Bumrah!

Get him in t20Is now he will just strengthen our bowling, currently he is as good as Gul in his prime and that's not a bad thing specially if you are yet to make FC debut.

5 balls that the speed gun registered in Haris Rauf's 4th over:

148kph
139kph
146kph
144kph
144kph

Amazing to see such a tearway fast bowler after a while.

Has good heads on his shoulders as well.

Exciting to watch 2 Pakistani Fast bowlers bowling 90 MPH Yorkers
Looking forward to Musa and Hasnain getting some games

A few things to work on but he looks a good find.

Action not the smoothest but it works for him.

His action is perfect for reverse swing and he needs to hold the ball for it. It's happening without him knowing why, but a little help on holding the ball, he could be an interesting addition to the national team

Aaqib Javed needs to stay away from him though

Otherwise we’ll see his pace going down the hill!

Guy was crying, has worked really hard for this obviously

Well Aquib Javed is the guy who has supported him well from what I have heard and seen. So credit where it’s due.

Yes, his crying while hugging Aqib suggested that

Lahore Qalandar talent hunt program gets too much criticism.

They have unearthed few unknown players who had little or no limelight from domestic.

Can't believe my city Islamabad missed Haris as he is an Islamabadi and studying at famous International Islamic university Islamabad.

LQ should have persisted with Ehtesham too.

Chaagaye yaar.

Worked hard for this and is reaping his reward.

Keep your head down and win more matches for your team and if selected country.

I don't need to see any more. This was rediculous

This was fantastic. This was special.

This guy is an elite elite superstar. The rye test tells it all. Swinging fast Yorkers. Every ball of his entire spell was bang on target.

His action was beautiful his deliveries were dangerous, fast and bang on. If today was anything to go by he is the best bowler in all of Pakistan.

Get him into world cup squad immediately. Not even joking.

Good interview there with Rameez, well done young lad. Keep working hard and the success will come In sha allah.

Today's match had Amir and Shaheen also playing and he easily looked better than both.

Needs to be on the plane to the UK. Can't wait for a few batsman getting some sweet chin music. Buhat hogaya acha bacha pana.

Agree with you brother

I want him to eventually plays tests and ODIs for Pakistan. How I would use him in tests is by bowling short spells but with extreme pace. In ODIs he should be used in short spells during the middle and end of the innings bowling with pace again.

Exciting talent.

Let's wait for a few games before even talking about him playing Test cricket.

Even ODI's is a step too far. Needs to play for a bit more.

He has more use in ODIs and tests than T20s. In T20s on small grounds batters want pace on the ball. Whereas facing him for a longer period will force batters into mistake.

If he performs like this for the rest of the season , he should be in the next ODI squad

Play him against aus in the uae if he performs well in the remaining matches.
What's the worst that could happen?
He isn't worse than Shinwari.

I know we are desperate for a good quality right arm fast, but i'll hold my opinion on him till end of PSL. He looks okay so far.

Hes been with Lahore for some time and they really worked on him. Gave him the exposure and today he won them a game. Such things are nice to see. Long way to go but he has lit up the PSL for sure today.

Also nice to see how 1 spell makes a star. I am sure whole of PAK will be talking about him tomorrow.

Same here .
He is exciting talent but we should wait till he plays handful number of matches

If he has a bad game next time, look how the tone here changes lol.

Bowled beautifully today, hopefully he can continue like this.

Ma sha Allah a good find bowled some good reversing yorkers.. Having said that, how are his other deliveries? Can he swing the ball conventionally? Does he have a good bouncer, cutters, slower balls?

He will find it difficult to swing the ball conventionally because of the angle of the seam

Excellent Yorker. We have been crying to see a bowler like this we Pakistan fans have! I think he will be 1 of the 15 in the World Cup Squad!

Awesome bowling at some serious pace, his inswinging yorkers at the death reminds me of Waqar Younis.

Should be selected for Australia series, if he performs consistently in the remaining matches and can also be a prospect for WC considering he is a right armer and bowls quick, two things we hardly find in our bowlers these days.

An attack of Amir, Shaheen, Hasan and Haris will be a mouth-watering one.

We are jumping up and down for mid to high 140ks stuff, just imagine what will we do when he gets 10k quicker in coming years.

People seem to be getting a little ahead of themselves. He was good no doubt, but it was only one game, we gotta wait to see his performance throughout the entire tournament.

Ehthsham looked very good, what happened to him?

Lol yesterday u were saying that u don't want another wahab, no point of pace without brain.
He has only bowled 4 overs lol

Looks like a good prospect. Though I am always skeptical on giving opinion based on T20 performances. Can he convert this in a 50 over game is the question.

That was a brilliant spell of bowling Hope he continues to develop and hopefully plays for pakistsan

Those that are saying to get him in straightaway need to calm down n sit down Its way too soon

Lets let him learn n improve his game first

There is potential there for sure, but he's at the raw stage so could go either way. Shaheen Afridi looked similarly raw in last season's PSL, but he has come on quite a bit since then and is now a genuine pace bowler.

Aaqib Javed needs to stay away from him though

Otherwise we’ll see his pace going down the hill!

Aqib is the one who has motivated him to try and hit 150. He hit 150 during a club game in Australia I think.

If you look at his action he looks like a Aamer Yamin like-medium pacer but on closer observation it's perfect for reverse-swing and obviously he has serious pace. He's an exciting prospect but I'd like to see how he does in PSL this season and FC/List-A later. This was after all his 4th professional game.

But even in aus he clocked the same speeds.
Even in his trials for lq he clocked the highest speed.

Those yorkers are NOTHING like Waqar. Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

People seem to be getting a little ahead of themselves. He was good no doubt, but it was only one game, we gotta wait to see his performance throughout the entire tournament.

Don't want to cast aspersions on his age which is supposedly 23, but he looks fully developed already, I don't think he's going to get any quicker. Amir was 18 when he burst on the scene and he never developed any extra speed either now he's fully matured.

There is potential there for sure, but he's at the raw stage so could go either way. Shaheen Afridi looked similarly raw in last season's PSL, but he has come on quite a bit since then and is now a genuine pace bowler.

This kid is world class for someone with his experience. If he stays fit he could be something very very special.. and I’m basing this on last game as well.

Pak need a rotation system to keep everyone fit and firing.

When will we find a 155 kmh bowler again?
Its been 8 years since akhtar retired. How much longer?

LQ should have persisted with Ehtesham too.

Apparently he used to bowl in the nets at Diamond Ground...

I can understand the emotions and love outpouring for him, but a lot of people are getting ahead of themselves, had similar reactions when Asif hit those 3 sixes and Fahim hit that 50 against Bangladesh etc

Give him the entire PSL at least, between now and then anything can happen- for the good and, god forbid, for the bad aswell!

That said what I’ve seen of him in the Abu Dhabi T20 Tournament and so far in the PSL, it does fill you with joy! His bowling has been brilliant! Looked a bit nervous in the first game, which is expected, but should have bowled his 4 overs. That said once he got his first wicket, you could see the confidence in him and the MOTM will only grow that confidence in him!

Hope he keeps working hard and stays level headed, then who knows, the possibilities are endless

A few things to work on but he looks a good find.

Action not the smoothest but it works for him.

This action is very injury prone and not smooth at all, needs some work, but not by Aaqib.

It's too early to tell but you can only go by what you've seen, and so far he has been impressive.

We are desperate for a bowler like him.UKS ruined all our plans for WC.Haris needs to be played immediately in Australia,Eng series.Whatever little I have seen of him I think he will make it big.He bowled to Indian players also in Australia and was praised

Haris was clocked at 92.4 mph in LQ trials in Gujranwala in 2017. That is 148.7 kph.

Yesterday he clocked 148 kph twice. After over number 2 the screen showed his fastest delivery to be 148 kph and than again in his 4th over he clocked 148 kph.

Haris is exciting to watch and one for the future. But people need to calm down because he is FAST which is exciting indeed but not Express at the moment. Reactions are as if he is Express and next Shoaib or Sami interms of speed.

Next step is very important and will be the deciding factor in terms of which way he goes. And that is all technical work.

To be dead honest NCA is not well equipped neither wrt latest biomechanics equipment nor the workman force. So any attempt to change his action and run up in Non Scientific way will result in another disaster.

Waseem Khan should send Haris to any high performance centre in UK, Aus, NZ or SA and PCB should be willing to pay what they demand.

1. Haris needs to lengthen his Run Up just like what Mark Wood has done recently. He will get more momemtum which would increase speed.

2. He needs to stay perpendicular in his delivery stride. He falls abit to his left due to which

a. He loses height (Already 5'10 5'11) hence he loses bounce.

b. He is on position to be able to bowl outswingers since with this his wrist and fingers cannot align to bowl outswingers. Currently seam points towards legslip and it helps him get dip and reverse which is good from one angle only.

c. His body is not fully behind so he loses 3-5 kph.

Once he fixes these issues than he will become Express and will not just rely on pace or reverse only but he will get conventional swing or seam aswell.

Ryan Harris, Starc, Cummins, Pattinson, Wood, Milne & Ferguson are all products of High Performance centres.

Only Kagiso Rabada was all Natural & gifted.

No Random tinkering with actions or runup was done. Rather there are state of the art Biomechanics equipment which analyse actions scientifically and than there are human movements experts, biomechanic experts and trained bowling Coaches which as a team make bowling actions efficient Scientifically.

At PCB you have Biomechanics equipment of Naseem Ashraf's time like 15 years old that too in LUMS and rotting from years. Redundant equipment and we have neither human movements consultants nor biomechanics experts.

It's been 2 years that the so called LAB is operational and we haven't seen a single improvement in any Pace bowler in Pakistan wrt either skillset nor speed at all levels.

Personally I would not want Aqib, Waseem, Waqar or even Shoaib to alter Haris's Action or Runup by Hit or Trial methods ie " Tuqqa analogy ".

It's a professional and scientific job these days.

Didn't knew he could swing the new ball, the guy is definitely ready for national side shorter format as well.

I am unable to watch the PSL live these days but I caught Haris's performance and after seeing that wicket of Imam I was very impressed. Brilliant seam position to get late swing at pace, a thing of beauty. The Lahore Qalandars team deserves all the praise for his development.

Great suggestion, and he needs to play for a first class team in QAT, he is yet to make his FC debut.

Our fans get excited very easily. This is the same PSL where Rahat bowls like Wasim and Wahab bowls like Johnson.

Let him perform on batting belters first. I hope he is actually good because our bowling is a joke at the moment, but I will sit on the fence until he shows his worth on pitches where legends like Rahat and Wahab fail.

Mamoon
If you have actually watched him bowl then you would have known that he's got the basics right for be an out and out topclass bowler, whether he actually convert his raw talent in to professional one is an open question to debate, we are not even talking about his performances either, it's the sheer raw talent which has push us in to this praising band wagon.
