Could the Babar Azam & Mohammad Rizwan opening partnership cost Pakistan at the T20 World Cup?

Babar & Rizwan's slow batting finally cost Pakistan the WC although Rizwan did amend by accelerating late but it was too late.

We did not lose the game due to anyone's batting. We lost the game due to Hassan Ali's 4 overs for 44, we lost the game to Hassan Ali's dropped catch of Wade, we lost the game due to one man.

You know I sometimes feel as if some posters would prefer to see the team losing just for their own agenda to be "proven" correct

Rizwan's knock was good, Babar's innings was kinda similar to Rahane's innings in 2016 Wt20 semifinals, a 115 str rate innings where the batsman failed to accelerate.

We needed 190 on this wicket always the case we’ll get overpowered in a high scoring match wins against India and NZ overrated easing chasing small targets nothing great other than good bowling first up.

Rizwan wastes balls at the start of each innings. His score looks good in the end as he makes up for his slow start by hitting boundaries later on his innings. But he is always struggling to time his shots in the important powerplay overs. At least Babar takes singles, if he can't hit. Rizwan and Babar combo shouldn't be persisted with going forward.

39 of 34 not good enough from Babar a solid accumulator but not a match winner in high scoring matches.
