I think the relations will improve in the coming years.

Indo-Pak politics are never as simple as they look and there are always hidden motives on both sides. The rest is just positioning for public consumption and political points.

Perhaps after the Indian elections?

The tri-series is nice but I would love to see a full series between the two countries like they used to in the past.

First, let India agree to a tri-series even. That too on a neutral venue. Then we can dream of having a series between India and Pakistan. This is not going to happen anytime soon.
