I don't think he's referring to Sami. Just put his face in there.
(Although standard protocol is to have it at the end!)
Ok. Sami = Sammy.

Bravo? Roach? They have options.
Roach for captain seriously too young
Bravo is more interested in the ipl. Bravo can be captain for Odis and t20 but for a test match does he have the patience and coolness I still rememeber him in a sledge fight with flintoff . He gets too carried away to other stuff
Even this guy is better than Sammy![]()
Technically a human IS a beast.
I recall him being promoted to number 3 in the match against England in the WC to do some pinch hitting.
He did a good job I thought. I know a lot of people thought it was a silly decision to make but honestly I get sick and tired of people saying the captains need to be pro-active and think out of the box and then when they do that and it fails they say what was he thinking?
Darren Sammy is doing an even tougher job than Afridi. He is leading a team with hardly any decent players, a lot of greedy and selfish players and mostly guys who are no better than he is. If there is a better candidate for the job then I'd like you guys to name him. Sadly there isn't.
People are criticising his captaincy, but to be fair, with the resources he has, I don't see how anyone could have done a better job.
He is neither, he is more like the eunach of international cricket.
I agree. He's got figures of 8-98 in a test match, so there's evidence that he is probably a very good bowler on a helpful surface, anyone who can take 8 wickets in an innings in a test has got to be decent.
You can fluke 1 or 2 wickets, maybe if you're really lucky a 3rd, but taking 8 in one innings, that's pretty amazing. None of our current bowlers have those kinds of figures, not even Gul.
Point is, he's not as bad as people make out. Is he any worse than the likes of Agarkar and Sami? In my opinion, definately not.

I liked Agarkar, thought India should've kept him because most of their bowlers are rubbish; much better than Patel, Nehra, Gony, and those other jokers. Similarly Sami as a one-day bowler was good and wicket takingAgarkar was the fastest guy to take 50 wkts in ODI.![]()
He is nobody, cant bat or bowl.
They are in the unfortunate position of having a team that features experienced players who would fail as captains, and slightly younger players that are rubbish and/or not captaincy material. Sammy is a joke but who would you replace him with?
Fidel Edwards
The only circumstances where that shot would not be atrocious would be 500 for 7 looking for a declarationHis shot today was atrocious given the circumstances.

I like Sammy. In fact in 2009/10 he was performing better and more consistently. But the captaincy really exposed his frailties. He should copy Chigumbura and retire from captaincy
Moiz, this is not the Favorite Posters thread, you don't have to like everybody![]()

He'll probably grab a fiver today just to spite the people in this thread![]()
Quite a shame he had to take the captaincy, he's got too much on his plate atm. Sarwan would have been a better choice.
Sarwan has been the captain in the past and he resigned![]()
Its because both Chanderpaul and Sarwan have been tried as captains and they didnt work out. So the WICB doesnt want to keep going back to players who have been tried and tested failures as captain
