Interesting move by PZ with Shahid Afridi stepping aside as skipper in favour of Darren Sammy.

Could be a good move actually and gives Afridi to play his natural game.

Afridi understands he can't be captain of pak t20 team anymore.... so he wants to play more relaxed..more tension free... which may actually help Peshawar zalmi

Afridi is a rubbish captain so this is good news for Zalmi. Sammy is a great captain and led WI to two T20 world cups so Zalmi have a very good chance of winning PSL this season.

 . PSL captains should be able to speak both English and Urdu. Captain should've been Wahab.

Anybody is an upgrade over afridi but, to make Sammy the captain is fabulous decision from the management. What surprised me most is how on earth did afridi become so selfless all of a sudden.

Shahid Afridi killing 2 birds with one stone. Having a go at PCB and WICB :)

Still he remained one hell of an all rounder who helped win an ICC trophy in the 2000's, what have you done with your life?

He's often mocked by being called a specialist captain but the guy delivers when it counts.

You have to love this guy. Loves Pakistan , I remember when Pakistan won the champions trophy he was cheering for Pakistan in the studio whilst Michael Vaughn and an ex Indian cricketer - (don’t remember who it was) had there heads in there hands. Awesome moment

He showed true leadership today.

Struggling with an injury and knowing a win was very important for him team, came and finished the game with ease.

Any team Sammy leads in T20 cricket will be tough to beat.
