David Warner's struggles against Wood and Archer further exposes Pakistani bowlers, coaching staff

The way Archer and Mark Wood have bullied David Warner in this series has been a sight to watch. Archer and Broad dominated Warner in the 2019 Ashes as well where he just could not by a run against them.

Then came the likes of Nasim Shah, Imran Khan Jr, Shaheen Afridi, Musa, Abbass and Warner was just incredibly at ease against them where he scored 150 and then 334 runs not out. Even worse was the fact that the bowlers did not even bother going around the wicket to him when both Archer and Broad had tortured him badly in the ashes series previously.

Now we have the likes of Archer and Mark Wood bullying David Warner with the same line and length on or just outside offstump and Warner looks like a school kid whose being made to face real men.

This just exposes how below par the current Pakistani bowlers are and it also exposes how proactive and on top of the game the English coaching staff is in comparison to the chai drinking, useless, clueless, incompetent Waqar Younis.

You need quality bowlers as well. You can have the best coaching staff in the world but if the bowlers don’t have the ability to execute those plans, it will not make a difference.

Pakistan’s problem is that we overhyped mediocre players and then act surprised when they don’t deliver.

Archer and Wood are miles better than our current fast bowlers. Only Shaheen has the potential to get close to their level - rest are all ordinary.

Shaheen needs to stop lazing around and consistently bowl like he did in the third T20.

I was thinking about it too. Warner has looked clueless. Ozzie team doesn’t have a lot of options these days. Back in the ‘00s, they would have dropped Warner for good.

Warner has hardly delivered since his comeback. He looks to be a shadow of the player he was 6-7 years ago

Hasnain, Shaheen, Naseem and Musa are very useful bowlers. Waqar Younis is an imposter as a coach tbh.

Could be equally or even more mediocre, but the fact is that the bowlers are mediocre as well.

Lol Archer and Wood might have suffered if they were given to Waqar. The role that good coaching goes towards helping players optimize their potential is under estimated

Pakistan fans must wait for their pace bowlers to pick up atleast 50-60 Test wickets with a decent average before hyping them to the moon. Last decent fast bowler i can remember was Umar Gul.. and he was alright in tests.
Shaheen is quality.. i have been following him since U-19 World cup loss to India in 2018. He can be next 300/400/500 bowler for Pakistan if managed and handled well.
