What has happened to England.

Moeen bhai had potential to become Raina level white ball bowler but his lazy and careless batting has stooped him to Irfan Pathan level batsman.
 
Australia win this they qualify. Aus play BD last match. Knowing Aus they might want to eliminate English from CT25 by losing to BD. Imagine that! Lol
 
To think that, 26 years back, chasing 289, PAK was 85/0 after 10, India short of 1 bowler (4 specialist bowlers), 4th bowler making debut (or 1/2 games in bag - Ashish Kapoor), on this same ground and under heavy dew ...... still managed to fail making a SF, what could have walked that team to title at home.

They won't lose to BD to get England out - after living so many years in west, still you are not aware of your skin color !!!!!

Aussies will love to beat Poms every time, if possible humiliate them - but losing to Bangladesh (Or IND, PAK, SRL, AFG...) to eliminate Poms ........ you really don't know them, trust me!!!!!!

Preventing England making the CT25 could be in their best interest when CT25 takes place. Yes it may suck for them to lose to BD on purpose but the bigger picture is it will get rid of a major threat at CT25. Aussies are tacticians . .

I don't think England are a big threat in ODI anymore. They have declined. Stokes should retire soon also.

had a bad tournament. It happens. England still got a good XI. Most will be around CT25. Stokes 32 still has time to play many more LOI tournaments. Malan, Ali be gone though, now Wiley who announced retirement.

Stokes doesn't seem interested in ODI. He actually retired from ODI like 2 years ago. Came back for this WC.

Very doable especially with the wet ball. English win really throws the remaining qualification places wide open.

An England win here will make Australia's remaining 2 games even more interesting.
 
Ahmedabad does have a dew issues. So come finals, the team batting 2nd will have an huge advantage if they bowl well in the 1st inning.
 
England is very particular about winning all the games. So they will one hell of a fight before going down.

Zampa's nickname should be Spider-Man. He looks like Tom Holland's Peter Parker.

He is a very good T20 basher and a useful spinner. Longer version of the game is not his strength. He does not have the mental capacity to build an innings.
 
I think it's beyond England's reach but they certainly aren't out of this.

Zampa definitely got his MOJO back he is such a key bowler for Aus

Maybe. Championship mentality. 50 50 between India and aus in a ko. Wouldn't be surprised If either team is capable of winning.
But first India need yo get past nz in a ko again. On paper India is the strongest team and performance wise too so but nz have done well In kos vs them. So there is still that cloud hanging over them.

He is one of those ones that doesn't look good, innocuous and non threatening but somehow can win a game for you by grabbing wickets in batches.
 
Surprised that Aussies went with Inglis for the keeper position.

Should've played Wade.
 
Subcontinental spin quality has become worse. Only India and Afghanistan have good spinners.

A white spinner is now outperforming desi spinners.
 
Can't feel too bad for England since they have back to back World Cup trophies (ODI and T20)...
