Day 3 Aus v Ind | Pakpassion Live at the SCG

Please PCB arrange a series against India on a neutral venue to improve Pakistan team 's batting averages !
 
We couldn't take wicket for 1 and an half day and BOOM Aus. took wicket straight away. Well, we kind of gifted it! :facepalm:
 
Think Gambhir will rethink his strategy now, looked like he was going to chance his arm and take a bit of risk/more positivity early on considering the form he's in to play himself in. But after Sehwag's dissmissal will probably revert.

When India were no.1 and getting to no.1, Gambhir out of all the batsmen was probably the most crucial. Problem with Sehwag is he has one gear, he can't defend or grit it out when India are in trouble. Still is very useful, but not in this situation. Even if he goes on to get a score, he doesn't waste enough balls, thus making the ball easier for the batsmen following to play and when he gets out early, he could possibly trigger a collapse.

Gambhir is a more adaptable test player, and is good in situations such as this, he soaks up pressure well, but unfortunately for India looks out of form.

Gambhir looking in good touch...the pitch not offering that much bounce... really should be looking to cash in and get back into some semblance of form
 
36/1 now, Hilfenhaus bowling very well. Has improved quite a bit.
 
Pitch has been flat for all 3 days. If we would have batted well in first inning, we could have still be batting our first inning at the moment.
 
Shastri again shouting..he is back in action...he was so depressed when Aussies were batting..
 
Has any triple centurion also had a five wicket haul in the same match....Clarke should certainly bring himself on soon enough
 
Lyon is nothing bowler, he is on par with Clarke & Marcus North. No point playing his against India.
 
Serious point - I now totally get why the BCCI is so opposed to Pak v India. Look at both teams and you get the feeling following a PAK V IND series, most of these Indians would not be able to re-enter the country.
 
This is why I have always been against Lyon, he is pathetic, gets to play just because Clarke supports the fellow.
