Breaking News - Dravid to apply for political asylum in Misbah ka Pakistan :jinnah

Seeing Dravid block, block, leave has a peculiar addiction to it...seems like the man is in a real mood to just drop the anchor today...needs Gambhir to stick at the other end though

Commentators not naming Hussey's century against Pak as one of the best SCG knocks..

Dravid pulls one elegantly to the square leg boundary...well controlled...and then follows it with a silky glide to the third man fence

Aus bowlers better off bowling a bit fuller to Gambhir, the pitch has no bounce...a good idea would be to get him driving and caught in the gully area

Now i can see why Clarke decided to declare early, They need all the time they can get to get India out.

one bouncer per over was made 2 help G HICK

and coz at thsoe times west indies and pakistan had superb fast bowlers!

Gambhir survives a massive appeal...had nicked it...a good decision by Erasmus for once...that appeal was over the top though by Aus

The problem with indian batting line up is...

too many tail-enders

Kohli, Ashwin, Zaheer, Sharma & Yadav... wich means aussie only needs 5 wickets,,,, and sehwag is a walking wicket these days

is irfan pathan in the squad?

if so then i feel he should play.. im sure even he can take 2/90 and plus he can make useful 50s

GM all ..

looks like our batsmen screwed us in 1st on a absolute road

Hi,

Are you at the ground?

If you are, can you tell me why the 'hooo' and 'boo' from the crowd, without anything happening in the middle among players? just curious.

Thanks.

Australia need at least 4 -5 wickets at the end of the day

That's not going to happen. I'll be happy with a couple today and the remaining 8 over the next day or so. It's still a belter of a wicket. On reflection he probably could have batted till halfway through tea or to the end of the day and still taken the same number of wickets, as I doubt he will take more than one or two today at most.

That's the 2nd wicket they were looking for for the day.

Tendy is the only person that Channel 9 ALWAYS shows walking from the pavilion to the centre of the ground, every innings this match.

If AUS get Ghambir out before end of day's play it will be pretty much all over for India.

india gonna draw this match if australia dont get gambhir wicket before stumps :97:

Let's be realistic lol. India took 1 wicket in nearly 5 sessions of play with the wicket in this condition. We've taken 2 so far in a bit over a session. That's what I was looking for for today, 2 scalps. Tomorrow the wicket should hopefully start to deteriorate. We should be good for a few more tomorrow. If we don't take many tomorrow then yes it will probably be a draw. But there's still heaps and heaps and heaps of time. Hopefully it rains overnight and the wicket gets nice and moist under the covers for tomorrow :D
