I was a huge fan of Akram in the 90s. I watched him closely, admired his skills, and almost regarded him as a cricketing god. But when the match fixing allegations came to light, it really shattered that image for me. I couldn’t continue to support him after that, and since then, I’ve been quite vocal about my disappointment with him. In fact, I have never spoken highly of him on this forum.

But anyway, this thread isn’t about Sarfaraz, Wasim, or Imran. You haven’t really commented on the behaviour of the younger players in question here. Do you think their actions were appropriate?

Lol he was picked for only one reason: all our bowlers were injured, he was a net bowler for that series who was asked to stay. He wasn’t a test player at all..
