What's new

Dismantle the Pakistan cricket Team

This is due to the fact that some players have already surpassed their peak period. They had already been employing an outdated style of play and mixing up formats to make selections even prior to this. What is need now is to transform their style of cricket and give more importance to domestic cricket. Also select the right players for each specific format moving forward.
How will you transform their style of cricket when that’s all they have done coming up through the ranks?

This transformation takes place at grassroots level and the amount of washed up coaches present at that level is one of the root cause of our decline. No one is even questioning them, it’s all about doing something about the Pakistan national team.

The passion to play cricket has also dwindled significantly compared to yesteryears. It’s a stark contrast to how cricket is run in India for example or even Sri Lanka.

Too much is going on, but neutrals only get to see what’s happening to the Pakistan team. It’s a miracle we were somehow producing results until now, the effects were going to show up one day for all the rubbish PCB does in the name of management.

Bring Misbah out of retirement. Only he can save Pakistan cricket.

People forget Pakistan reached no 1 in Test for the first time just 8 years ago. He built the fortress in UAE where Pakistan remain undefeated. But greedy Pakistani fans took things for granted and disrespected legendary cricketer like Misbah. Now Pakistan are struggling to even draw a test in their own home ☹️.
@Mohraheem do u agree here? :ROFLMAO:

No problem just take him along side with azhar ali. Stay happy . We don’t want this Corrupt Misbah near Pakistan cricket.

Test cricket isn’t for rookies, folks. Some posters here seem to forget that. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve read comments about dismantling the Pakistan team, "doing surgery," or even dropping Babar Azam! And remember how everyone was hyped about Saim Ayub before this series? Now they’re ready to toss him aside too.

Everyone's chasing “youngster beauties,” trying to hit reset, but that’s exactly how we ended up in this mess.

The real solution? We need to reverse the mistake we made by not holding on to experienced test players. Apart from Babar, Shan and Rizwan, no one even has 20 test matches.

I propose an amnesty scheme to rescue Pakistan cricket from this slump. Urgently, we should call back those players who were prematurely dropped but have recently played in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy—guys like Asad Shafiq, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Imam-ul-haq, Yasir Shah, Nauman Ali, Abid Ali, Hassan Ali, and Mohammad Abbas. Fast-track them back into the squad because, honestly, this current team is severely lacking in experience. You can't build a solid test team like this. If these players are inducted smartly, we will at least stop embarrassing ourselves and stop the bleeding until we can figure out what to do next…

The biggest scam word in cricket is "experience". You don't need to play 30 Test matches to be able to understand where to pitch the ball or hit a shot. You need higher IQ players. Simple. Everyone needs to look at Abrar's batting in the 1st innings and realize how low our player IQ levels are.

There is literally no skill or discipline in this life that doesn’t benefit from “experience”.

Another embarrassment. As I mentioned before when Babar Azam is you so called star, you have a serious issue. Overall the whole team/squad lacks basic fitness levels. The pacers are toothless and get smashed 24/7.

Pakistan should really withdraw the team from International matches until there is some sort of standard.

The amount of money and time thrown on this team - just to see how pathetic they are.
Every single Pak TV channel has like a show for this CT, only for the team to crash out in the 1st week.

PCB should retire and end this farce!

I’m getting even more anxious. Where has the talent gone? There isn’t a single talented or confident player. This has become a real concern now.

you cant find them randomly in a professional era. players get found out in 3 or 4 games with domestics and leagues being televised everywhere. you need a proper system to identify and develop players when they are in their early teens. it happened quicker with west indies cos they had a smaller talent pool, but its happened to SL and Pak too. all the teams that relied purely players popping up from nowhere.

We are at a situation where wholesale changes are needed i.e. 8-10 players need to be axed. A fresh hungry squad is what is needed going forward.

There is no talent or hunger. It starts with passion with a desire, this lot and also the ones behind, have no jazba.

All the coaching talents are here on PakPassion and there is no one on the grounds to coach the young domestic talent.

The way Naqvi said in yesterday’s media interaction that even if this team loses to India, he will still support them after hearing this the players get a cushion to relax knowing that nothing will happen even if they lose.

There is a lack of passion and the reason is that these centrally contracted players have financial security along with support from franchises (i.e Lahore Qalandars). When the main focus is on earning money so where will the passion come from?

PCB or any sane person Pakistan with some shame/respect should step in now. I really do not mind losing, but seeing the likes of Shadab, SSA in the team is not on. Making all these new and young players debut in NZ also makes no sense.

The problems are so deep rooted. Pak cricket is in ashes, it needs to restart from 0.

Playing on with this set-up will result in more humiliation.

Select a core of 30 players and play FC cricket for a good year, then you can think of restarting Int cricket.

Its really pathetic and embarrassing to see where Pak cricket has fallen to!
