India were probably the best bowling side in WC-19 but post it the wheels have fallen off completely.

Nz chased down 350 comfortably
Eng butchered them today including a period where Ind were taken for 91 off 5 overs
Aus Scored 370 odd twice in a 3 match series

Concerns for Ind:

Lack of wickets in powerplay
Bumrah unable to pick up wickets or contain runs
Kulcha rendered completely useless after their novelty wore off

Possible solutions:

Play Jadeja and maybe someone like Gowtham, a spinner who can bat.

It seriously seems like India are back to where it all started. Now they cant rely on 2 spinners to destroy teams in middle overs. Expect India's win percentage to drop against top 4 teams.

They need a fit and firing Bumrah and Shami to bowl together. They are the two best ODI bowlers in India and their attack has a lot of potency when they bowl in tandem.

Our problem is wicket upfront. Need tk fix that because it is a problem which is not there in this series only but it was earlier also.

The main issue is with spinners. They are not picking up wickets and are going for plenty. Chahal-Kuldeep phase was brilliant when it was ON. Ashwin-Jadeja was great too. However, there are no new spinners. Need to bring Ashwin and Jadeja back. They could have an odd bad game like they did in the CT final but are still the two best spinners in LOIs.

Kuldeep and Chahal have lost form. I think India need to try another spinner.

Bumrah,Bhuvi, and potentially Shami is a good seam attack.

Bumrah
Bhuvi
Shami
Jadeja

We need to find a spinner who is a wicket taker. Chahal and Kuldeep combo was good till it lasted. Now we need to find a new one.

People are reading too much into one defeat. England is a gun ODI and T-20 team and no one could have stopped Stokes in that kind of form.

India has nothing to worry about , they have enough bench strength. Also , they have lost only one game that too against top-three team.

No one is denying that India is a gun team. Infact they are probably World's 2nd best odi team. This thread is meant to discuss Ind's bowling recent failures. And its not one game its slowly becoming a pattern

Bumrah and Shami needs to be back, especially when they travel to SENA. The bowlers they are playing v Poms now, apart from Bhuvi, will be murdered abroad.

With Bumrah, Shami, Bhuvi together with the powerful batting they have they will be fine.

Since the start of 2020, the first wicket has cost us 115 runs on an average at 6.40 an over.
