What's new

Does any existing frontline Pakistani pacer have Mohammad Siraj's relentless passion?

Zak was the 2nd best test pacer from 2007-11 after Steyn, won series in Eng/NZ (only series won there in decades), drew a seres in SA, was responsible for India being no 1 for two years in a row and capped it by being the highest wicket taker in a winning WC campaign.
Johnson and Anderson were the 2nd and 3rd best pacers in that period. Zaheer was very able though and a natural leader.

Past legendary Pak bowlers relied on ball tampering and performance enhancing drugs which gave them the success..as the international cricket rules and regulations became strict over the years, you can evidently see the decline in quality of Pakistani bowlers..leave passion, they don't even have basic IQ for a cricketer..
It is a shame that you feel the need to make such slanderous and libelous allegations against former cricketers.

I understand you are emotional after drawing the test series but attempting to rewrite history will not make your current teams achievements any greater. Especially without substance.

Wonder if you post on similar tones when such posts are about Indian cricketers or your conscience only perks up wrt Pakistani cricketers (west or East).

Shame such posts are only typed when shoes on the other foot....

I haven't seen anybody accuse any Indian legend of using PEDs and getting away with it, so not sure which shoe and which feet you are on about here.

You seem very touchy about Pakistanis and Bangladeshis and their comments towards Indians but let's be clear accusing others of drug use is a new low.

I guess coz Pritvhi Shaw got caught doping we can assume that :sachinalso took PEDS.

🤡 arguments.

Allegations..??It's an absolute truth which your own players have admitted and some of them have even got punished for that. Its quite evident how Pakistan which were once a pace battery are now having bowlers who are incapable to bowl more than 4 overs in a stretch..A/so everyone is aware of how Pak bowlers used soda bottle caps and blades for inducing reverse swing with old balls in middle overs .

Btw all Indians including me are proud and happy with whatever our young lads achieved during our transition phase..we still have the trophy..we are two time test championship finalists...two time world cup winners both in odi and T20..and have won all major icc tournaments..it's you people who are having stomach ulcer seeing the India's performance and whining like a baby..

Siraj is a great example of hard work and team management support goes hand in hand

Amir Jamal of Pakistan did really good for Pakistan in their last Australia tour yet after that he was slowly sidelined because management didn't like him being pro IK.

The meat must be better in India that Siraj can consistently bowls that fast for 5 tests.

Pakistanis need to check the source of their meat, the bowlers don’t have the stamina anymore.

Pakistan is historically knwon for short cuts. Sometimes it works though. Even these military camps and all these things are aim to achieve things that should happen over the years in a short time. Imagine Azam trying to lose weight in 1 month and getting fit. This was one of the most ridiculous thing i have ever seen. Unfortunately on field "short cut" methods are being monitored closely.

Nothing mentioned about drugs at all, I was posting about your comment on libellous and slander, wonder where PED came from? :ik

Not touchy at all mate, had expected higher standards from you much to my disappointment 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Well brother Siraj is welcome a BD or Pak citizenship. Maybe he can teach a thing or two to youngsta beauty Nahid Rana, Naseem Shah, Saheen.

Let me analyze this with the seriousness of a late-night cricket show where everyone's yelling over each other.

Shaheen Afridi

The golden boy. Lovely hair, majestic run-up, and a wedding with Afridi’s daughter. Passion? Sure, he shows glimpses of it every time he swings one back into the pads. But his celebrations are more "royal wave at a crowd" than "Siraj charging like a bull who’s had three energy drinks and just watched Rocky."

Haris Rauf

Now we’re getting somewhere. This man does bring intensity. His bouncers have intent. His stare-downs could curdle milk. But Haris’s passion feels more "I will break your toes" and less "I will break into tears for my country after every dot ball." He’s like a hitman who’s very good at his job but doesn't cry at the credits of emotional films. Siraj? Siraj is the film.

Naseem Shah

Ah yes, Naseem. He’s got the baby face of a Disney prince and the wrists of a fast bowling poet. But relentless passion? He still seems too polite. Like he’s checking with the batter, “Sorry bhai, can I knock your off stump back into next week? Thanks so much.”

So to summarise this, Siraj’s passion isn’t just relentless, it’s theatrical. It’s Bollywood meets Test cricket. He’s the kind of guy who would appeal for an LBW even if he’s the one who got hit. If a Pakistani pacer had Siraj’s energy, they’d be running from fine leg to sledge the non-striker after every delivery. And let’s be honest, PCB would probably suspend them for “too much enthusiasm, bro.” :inti

Johnson really wasn’t a big deal back then, its after 2011 that he actually started giving those memorable performances.
actually he was. He was the biggest talk of the media during Ashes 09. He suffered lack of form during 2010 and then suffered a foot injury in 2011 that put him out of action for almost a year. Was unceremoniously not picked for 2013 Ashes after Mickey Arthur's homeworkgate saga. But regained form in 2013.
