Loved Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball + the movies but I haven’t kept up to date with Super, mainly due to the fact that I can’t stand the Japanese voice acting.

Ok I'll definitely check it out when I have the time, I hope they've improved the animation because it was hilariously bad in the early episodes.

DBS is great rn. Started off underwhelming at the start with the art being rushed, but around Zamasu saga they picked up their game, and this universal tournament saga feels just like a part of dbz. Generating quite an audience as well.

Broly fans have been trolled since +20 years, because basically they hailed him as the best but he just wasn't canon, I guess it's a sort of relief for them, esp. when looking at the trailer it seems that they'll work a lot on the characterization (his past, etc)

It wasn't. After ages, Master Roshi got some relevance again while Frieza's character development was the best since Vegeta's. Introduction to dozens of newer characters has also added freshness to the franchise and gives us so many possible arcs.

I love Super. It's very chill to watch.

Your gotta be kidding me. Dragon ball z was actually fun. Super was just incredibly dumb.
Animation was crap for the most part.
Action was repetitive. Most of the fights were just super quick punches and some energy beams-no creativity at all.
Characters were dumb. Goku was probably the worst dumbest main character i've ever seen.
Not a single good character or story line.
No originality. Most of the things were already done in Z like future trunks, frieza, tournament arc. Recycling the same crap.
It's a very poorly written series. I couldn't even finish it and i was super hyped for it.
I think this show was meant for children only because it's just dumb.
