Eid Mubarak

Eid Mubarak to all my brothers and sisters in Islam! May Allah accept our worship and allow us to carry on the good habits acquired from Ramadan to the rest of our lives, Ameen!

I don't care who is at fault and who instigates violence usually, I just want peace in my country.

Some of these Indians don't know when and where to say something. They bring up India everywhere. It is very retarded.

I wouldn't be surprised if they scream "India! India!" while they are inside toilets. :inti
 
My local mosque declared today (Sunday) is Eid. So did many other mosques. They seem to be following the calculation method.

However, one local Hilal committee is saying Eid is on Monday. They are saying moon wasn't sighted.

I have decided to follow my local mosque.
 
Eid Mubarak in advance to the Muslim brothers who are gonna celebrate Eid Tommorow.(Including me).
May Almighty Allah shower his blessings upon us on this benevolent occasion.
Don't forget to pray for all our muslim brothers from Palestine who are not going to get the same happiness on this joyful day

Agreed. Happy that Allah allowed us to see Ramadan at the same time our hearts and prayers are still with our brothers in Filistin, Burma and everywhere else in the world where they may be facing hardships.

Security beefed up across Mumbai as message on X warns of ‘riots, bomb blasts' during Eid​


Security was beefed up across Mumbai after police received a warning message on social media, saying that 'Hindu-Muslim riots, arson and bomb blasts' might take place during Eid, on March 31 and April 1, in some particular areas.

According to a report from news agency PTI, the warning was issued for areas like Dongri, wherein such acts may take place at the hands of "some illegal Rohingya/Bangladeshi/Pakistani infiltrators". The post tagged the Navi Mumbai police's handle.

An official cited in the report said that the Navi Mumbai alerted Mumbai police, following which security was tightened across the financial capital and patrolling was also increased in areas like Dongri. The official noted that nothing suspicious was reported so far.

"Apart from Mumbai police personnel, the Crime Branch, the Anti-terrorism squad and special branch are also on heightened vigil," he added.

The Navi Mumbai police also responded to the warning message, saying, "Thank you for contacting Navi Mumbai Police, please send your mobile number for further information regarding your tweet."

According to the Free Press Journal, the cyber cell has launched a technical investigation to trace the person behind the social media post.

Additionally, the same person also sent out a similar message to the Delhi Police and chief minister Rekha Gupta. In another post, he warned the police of the capital to be alert during Eid on March 31 - April 1 as "some illegal Rohingya/Bangladeshi/Pakistani Muslims may cause Hindu-Muslim riots or bomb blasts in Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, Jahangirpuri".​

Here in Birmingham UK, I celebrated Eid with my family yesterday. My next door neighbour is celebrating today. Different year but same old story.
