is Amir's career all but over?
He has lost the swing, pace and fans
He hasn't picked a wicket for eternity and surely will be out of the side after Asia cup.
Don't even think he will get a chance again in Asia cup even if we reach Final!
Maybe its over for him after all

:lol The overreaction.

It's not the end for him, he may get dropped from the XI but shouldn't be dropped from the 15.

Why would you say that?

He's only 26, can play for around 5-6 more unless Pakistan can bring out some world class bowlers who can take wickets everywhere, not just where it offers swing.

Amir has been having a lean time but just needs to go back and do his basics, learn a bit more about bowling and play important matches and not just every series.

i didnt see a single special things after his come back he was extremely good before his ban but post ban he is as good as rahat ali

It's just weird how he hasn't improved at all. Still can't nail the basics after 3 years.

lol no one has swung the ball in Asia cup apart from few overs from Malinga. Don't forget catches were dropped. I am more surprised by Hasan Ali performance. A seam bowler should have done better in these conditions.

The swing requirement is harsh.

Even an all-out swing bowler in Bhuvneshwar Kumar hasn't swung it in Dubai.

Hasan, Shaheen and Shinwari might not pick up wickets but you'll never fault them for their effort.

Hopefully. Obviously I'd hope he turns up but he hasn't in the last 2 years, barring one occasion.

Lol, if you cant swing the ball, how about keeping things tight which Bhumra and Bhuvenshwar are doing

He did swing the ball - I was watching BD game, but watched the first over, where 3rd or 4th ball he did bring back to Sharma, who did remember the Oval game more than entire PAK team - played with soft hand, middle of dead bat. Same ball, PAK opener (s) might have lost off stick trying to flick through mid wicket.

He needs to be dropped for a run of games. We have given him enough game time to regain form. I would keep him in the squad but not as automatic choice.

Yes, he deserves criticism there.

He continuously lost his line and length vs. India and they made him pay.

Lol the overreaction is over the top. I agree he needs to be dropped for a while, should not play the next two series in UAE, next series he should play is the South African series. Give him a break, he is a pacer after all and he has played almost every series for us since being selected.

No, he is just going through a bad phase. Moreover, UAE is the graveyard for fast bowlers, he will always struggle there without swing. He needs a break and work on his basics.
