What's new

England (161/6) edge past New Zealand (159/7) by 4 wickets in a tense T20 World Cup 2026 Super 8 clash

Our cousins have a mental issue against us due to property dispute and because our shop brings more revenue.

Otherwise they’re deadlyvenom for the rest of teams bro
They are angry becuase you are not giving them share in profit from "our" shop, akele akele kha rhy ho.

Reminds me of the 2014 final when India just got stuck towards the end and failed to score any runs.

NZ completely lost the plot against English spinners.

They went to a 150sh total from what seemed like a 180+ total easily.

Abrar, shadab, usama mir, saad. pcb should get adil rashid to work with these guys. Rashid is so good nowadays

We will see. None of us are Nostradamus to know the results. According to weather forecast, dew is expected which should make things less challenging to batting side.

You should be incarcerated for even asking this question
Is my comparison as poor as this one?

:kp

Feel NZ have enough to defend here. Ball is turning sharply after pitching. Kiwis have enough quality spinners to expose England.

160 to win.

England on top.

Although now they face a tricky situation. The wicket is spinning and is slow. Do they play out full 20 overs to chase it comfortably or do they do our cousins the mighty Pakistanis a favour by trying to chase it down in 15 overs.

I hope England do the right thing and chase it down in 15 overs because they’re already threw to semis and they owe our cousins a favour

Lol this is more like comparing two 🤡...but we have bigger one

The speeds he is bowling at is amazing. First wicket was 73 kph and this one at 70 kph. Takes alot of guts to flight the ball at that pace, but that just illustrates the confidence and control he has

He has the slowest average speed in the tournament as well @Nikhil_cric at 79 kph

Presenter - Is it what you thought it would feel like going out there in your first world cup?

Rehan - Yeah it was similar to the training wickets here and I played some ODIs here before the world cup, so yeah it was very similar.

Doesn't seem to be the brightest bulb in the box.

those two fours your coochie bhai hit were like daggers to my heart.

One thing i have noticed is that its better to go opposite to cricinfo win predictor. Mostly it is wrong.

*unless Pakistan is playing then you can disregard its predictions entirely as Pakistan will likely lose anyway.

Think England just chase it down normally. Win is a win and this is a tricky surface.

Katwalindian calculated it to be a 60-70 win runs or so Pakistan needs to beat Sri Lanka by if England take it to last over. Which is doable. We just need the lifeline. I remember being in the stands when we needed to score something like 500 in the odi World Cup years back against Bangladesh and Pak fans still cheered them on when they tried to go for it at the start 😄. This seems far more manageable in comparison.

TBH, all my hopes are now once again on Henry Brooks.
I don’t trust Butler but hope he makes a legendary come back tonight

We gotta win this in 15 overs dear
