When i was 17, I was the only kid in my class who had no beard, nothing on my face besides this faint stache that made me look like Hitler and everyone use to make fun of me.

Then by the time I was 18 it came in and I was taken very seriously by everyone. Since then I havent gone clean shaven.

I can confirm that it 100% makes a cultural difference.

One of my friends got hired and aced a job interview because he grew a beard and the organisation assumed he was a mature cultural fit
