there was a time when they predicted innings runs just before the start of innings , my personal observation was they were wrong by more than 10% seven out of 10 times - referring to Tests only .

Initially they just played attacking cricket (particularly Pant) for 30 minutes or so... Later on with cloudy conditions they should have played patiently, but they wanted to continue attacking... The conditions were against it... If England batsmen bat sensibly (like Indian openers yesterday) then they can also match this score, but if they go blind bazball it can lead to collapse...
