England defeat Pakistan by 3 wickets in tense finish to the 4th ODI

Man Prof is so economical... if only we had an Ajmal like wicket taker at the other end.
 
Hafeez just showing, even half decent spinner on these wickets against Eng batting lineup could have done much better than most of the bowlers.

Kudos to Inzi and Mickey for not selecting any decent LOI spinner

Imad Wasim averages 45 and Yasir Shah averages 48..... These are the only spinners selected by Inzi the revolutionary for this series.

Lets stop blaming pitch. It is good. It has been pathetic brainless bowling and fielding. Medium or fast medium bowling works as wells if someone use brain and fielders help.
 
These pitches aren't THAT bad.... Hafeez has shown it. Any side with half decent spinners will always be in the game. India's WC to lose.

Simply pathetic stuff and that too against team which has been playing pacers much better than spinners, did the same mistake against Aus in UAE as well. I dont know how some people can retain their jobs after repeating blunders again and again.
 
Pak bowlers have turned into bowling machines now.
They lack imagination. I wonder if they even think about picking wickets anymore
 
Might as well bowl Malik for few overs to cover the rest of Junaid's overs

Butler is a serial offender in this regard. He always finds himself outside right before the ball is released. Warning is also the discretion of bowler. No need of warning if you ask me. Batsmen already have so much in their favor. Two new balls, power play, flat decks, ability to play reverse.
 
England batters are just more powerful and dynamic than ours. That's the difference

Ball reversing just a little bit...well one of them anyway. Try Hasnain at that end. Get in some slips, a close catcher...runs are going to come, look to take wickets!

As if the current bowlers are containing. He had the best strike rate since CT so he should be selected based on wicket taking ablity. Didn't you watch the recent series against Australia? He was the only Pakistani bowler that stood out, and also Allan border had the same opinion.
 
Guys this is how a ton is scored on this pitch at 134 SR..... not 100 SR like Bobby Shupa-ishtaar
 
Jaunaid has been bowling phoop. The guy thinks that he is all that in terms of pace. In the end he has now neither pace nor brain. I used to think he was a great find. I was wrong. The guy has turned into a pathetic brainless bowler

Sarfraz the genius brings Hafeez for the 5th over in a row and it pays off even I could see this one would be costly as the batsmen have seen what ur about with 4 overs.
 
I always get amazed when I see a century scored by an opener in 80 balls or less, never happens with our batsmen
 
So we’ve learned that if Pakistan scores 360 then par is around 400/420...

He bowls at the perfect length for a right hand batsman to just use the pace and help the ball along its way over fine leg, especially on these true pitches.

Yeah man he should bowl out Hasan and Hasnain and bowl the final ten with Imad and Hafeez.

Seeing current Cement Phatas. I don't think any pacer can make much difference.

Only way of winning a game on this cement phata is to chase.
 
Man, I dont even care that much if Pakistan dont bat well, but when they dont get wickets... it hurts
 
Did this series help Pakistan prepare better for the world cup? No other team had this advantage of facing world cup favorites in 5 matches right before the world cup in their own backyard. What do you guys think?
 
What a meltdown.

England haven't had to do much different. We have just bowled rubbish and forgot the basics.

Just for letting pak score 340+ in 3 consecutive matches the ecb should be sent to the gallows!! This teams max capacity on a decent wicket is 220-240
 
I'll say it again. 340 is a good score. Both teams have batted well. England have batted better. Both teams have bowled awful with England still bowling better. Explains the results.
 
Another humiliating loss is on its way. What have even happened to our bowling and fielding?
 
All have been poor but Junaid and Imad have been simply horrible

We inflicted the largest defeat in a World ODI final and India's name is on the losing side by a whopping 180 runs and 125 runs. :))
 
Sarfraz Ahmed the specialist captain do your damn job, I blame him for this heartless effort, plays for himself with the bat then on auto pilot on the field besides the usual screaming and shouting when he is getting owned, what a disgraceful cricketer, he has doomed Pakistan cricket they will be destroyed in the World Cup so sad to watch this
