What's new

England defeat Pakistan by 7 wickets in the one-off T20I

They are similar but Root paces his innings better. His SR almost never drops below 85 at any point, but Babar these days bats at a SR of 65-70 in the first half of his innings.

Babar is the same. Thing is he hardly accelerates. Constant SR around 85-90 i.e. Amla.

with this score a fullside England would have wrapped it up by now. Pakistan really needed 190+ here

I swear Amir is a better All Rounder than him legit his batting average and SR are higher than Faheem.

Amir has done more with the bat than Faheem ever has:

1. 58 off 28 balls at Trent Bridge in the 444 game
2. Amir's partnership with Sarfraz against SL in the CT
3. Scored 73 against NZ (during his pre-ban days)

We gotta lose all 6 of the games leading up to the WC and even the warm ups so teams start under estimating us again and then we pounce on them.

Babar used to be the same, but he has been worryingly sluggish in the first half of his innings for a while now.

poor captaincy

what is the point of sarfraz if he can't even captain the side against england c?

Sarfaraz should not have been a captain , because his batting is not good enough to be in the team.

Pakistan should play Abid Ali as WK, they can play extra all rounder .

Yea I really don't understand why people are rating Pakistan's bowling high. Without Amir it is really inexperience. Specially at the death.

The amount of Pak fans who cry like 12 year old girls evident on this thread is funny.

Thankfully most of them wont be in England for the World Cup.

Morgan seems like a man on a mission. This summer will define his legacy - he will either be remembered as a very good player or a legend based on what happens between now and 14 July.

I remember in his first ODI series against England (2015 UAE) and in his first tour of NZ, he used to bat a lot more freely. You're absolutely right - his SR is getting worse year on year.

what's embarrassing is you overrating an average bowler like he's the next shoaib akhtar.

and the reason he was selected was based on those 90mph deliveries yet we didn't see them until the last over.

You guys still fighting your own little fight, TalhaSyed? :))

Regardless we loose all 6+2 matches this team doesn't have the ability to win matches against big team unless they have a really bad day.
Our batting is worse among 10 teams and bowling is also very average.

People hyping up Shaheen and Hasnain as they're already Wasim and Waqar or will even be 10% of them. :))

I am envious of how well the captains of other teams have been performing like Williamson, Kohli, Holder, Morgan, Finch, Faf

Theres no need to be sad if we lose this, although i would hate that to happen.

Morgan has played really well so far.

No point of watching the matches if you don’t believe your team can win is there?

Hasan Ali is about to join a long list of Pakistani players who couldn't cope with success and fame and had a disgraceful fall from grace.

You really can't blame the bowlers here, there is nothing in this pitch for the bowlers, even England bowled poorly, but problem is our batsmen apart from Babar and Haris are rubbish. We should have got to 200.

It is such an inspiration to see your captain lead from the front. An inspiration Pakistani fans have been completely deprived of.

Fame got to his ahead after 2017 CT. Perhaps a curse in disguise but it goes back to your thread earlier in the year, we need to diversify the background of cricketers coming into the system.

RRR of 10 in the last 8 overs in England is nothing these days.

I cant blame Sarfraz because we arent good enough.

But its funny how people would have credited Sarfraz had we somehow pulled it off.

This is what happens when you play two 19 year olds

Arthur is a failed coach and should be sacked along with Inzi and Sarfraz a year ago.

Forget Hassan Ali, SSA looks rusty. Sad to see that. I am sure he will come back strong in the first ODI. Hes too good to perform so poorly.

We haven't even look like getting a wicket. Sarfraz just bowls the bowlers with no plan at all.
