lol about taking swipe at Pakistan team. i am an Indian and obviously ICT fan. And no one in my friend circle thinks Pakistan is a bad side, even after we trounced them in the round 1. Pakistan which has a mental block against India in big matches and BD don't have any such mental block against PK. Pakistan, even during their difficult times have had better skilled players. Pakistan is always a quality side and they play good cricket. May be a bit down now for couple of years in ODI but there is no way you can say the only reason they have won against BD is because of BD's mental block. Pakistan has always played this way, they have always had ridiculously talented individuals but ended up having their whole much less than their parts. May be at this jucture, you can say BD has a good enough team to challenge Pakistan. But in a big knock out match or even in a league match in a big tournament, i would back Pak to win four out of five times.
that does not mean things will stay this way. BD has three to four seniors who are hitting their peak now and will retain that peak for next two to three years. there is whole lot of talent coming up who are very young and should mature in next few years. So i think 2019 WC will be very interesting for BD fans. they should be genuinely disappointed if BD does not reach semifinals of 2019 WC. But for now, in this tournament, i would back Pak to beat BD. Actually BD will have a better chance against England..
Definitely England would be more tougher opponent than Pakistam. But lets be realistic I don't see a chance to beat India for us in the semi.
