England to meet Pakistan in the final of the T20 World Cup after thrashing India by 10 wickets

Full game on a flat wicket is going to be really difficult, even the Aussies couldn't beat them.

Luckily for Pakistan rain is forecast and a rain reduced game will reduce the gap between the teams.

I thought icc was trying their best to have an india vs Pakistan final. But clearly it seems the better team on the day is winning rn. All though too soon to decide anything

Pakistan have a chance if they bat first. We still got better bowling attack than India.
 
At least against England we can give 100% but against India we always mentally stuck.
 
Rohit has been very poor, his body language looks pretty flat

No one would be motivated when they see Rohit when Ind is on the field especially
 
BJP Hinduvta won't forget that misfield. Shami needs extra protection when he goes back to India.

And Kohli aside the rest look far too flat.

Get a wicket and you are back in. But obviously it’s now a mountain to climb from this position.

Your bowlers are better than England, reducing the overs and forcing the Pakistani batsmen to hit will make it close.

Full 20 overs on a good track is going to be hard because man for man they're better. You'll be relying on them folding under pressure.

moment i saw shami do that, and then rohit being animated to fire in a direct throw, for a second i thgt rohit was ordering stones 🙃

Pakistan have struggled against England's B team at home and beaten black and blue by England's hastily drawn squad under Ben Stokes.

England is bringing it home this time!

How is it the best bowling attack? If they had Bumrah and Jadeja then you may have a case.

Indian team with this outdated trend and game-awareness can never compete against strong teams. I told we cannot cross Semi Finals. T20 is a format for young guns, and we have Bhuvaneshwar, Shami, Rohit, Rahul, etc showing brutal performances with outdated captain Rohit leading them!

Even the Indian team which won the 1st edition did it because they had a young team & a freshly thinking captain!

I will be surprised if England does not win this world cup! They are the most suited team for this format!

India I think will continue to do well only in Tests with this kind of approach towards LOI games...

Bat first and Babar-Rizwan are guaranteed to settle for a below par total. Could be a repeat of the 2021 semifinal.

Probably will get in a 5 or 10 over game, so it all goes out the window.
 
I think most Indian fans here will agree that their team was extremely lucky to get to the semis.

They lost to South Africa and had Pakistan selected 4 seamers India would not have come close to beating them.
They really should have lost to Bangladesh too.

Now up against a top side they've completely imploded

India paced their innings like ours, T20s aren't played like that these days.

You need T20 batsmen from 1-8.
 
The captain Rohit and the team management has to be held responsible for India"s very defensive bowling approach in this WC

The bowlers selection has been poor with only B.Kumar & Arshdeep being your only two wicket taking options and other bowlers are your defensive restricting the flow of runs kind of bowlers

Rohit seems to be very poor in understanding the conditions when they are not like Indian

Yes this will be the difference in the end.

170 is defendable if you have a decent bowling attack but India 15 short.
 
England took the 2015 World Cup mauling against New Zealand personally.

England 123 all out
New Zealand 125/2 (12 overs)

That was the day they flicked the switch. McCullum created a monster.

Both SFs have been pretty one sided.

India would have beaten SA anywhere except Perth. The other teams in the group were poor including Pak. We saw the resurgent Pak at the end but they were poor initially too. Aussies were poor. English too in their group games initially. I don't think any one team dominated in this world cup.
