England to meet Pakistan in the final of the T20 World Cup after thrashing India by 10 wickets

Sunday will see the biggest human migration in history when 1.4bn Indians switch sides to supporting England.

My mind goes back to the time when an Indian poster was enquiring about flight timings from Australia to Karachi after Zimbabwe defeat and Mamoon congratulating everyone thinking our tournament was over

The two best teams in the Final.

Would be great with a full game, but there will be plenty of drama with a 5 or 10 over game.

One of the great LOI knocks by Hales. One to remember for the ages.

He deserves this after missing out on the World Cup in 2019. A pathetic and mentally weak player like Moeen has a World Cup medal but Hales doesn’t. Life can be so unfair.

India have been shredded here and it's not surprising for me. They narrowly won against both Pak and Ban while lost to RSA. So this team was always vulnerable against stronger sides.

India have become a bilateral team, still no ICC event wins since 2013.

England's game against Australia was rained off
Kiwis dominated their group but lost to England
Both teams were deserving semi finalists.

India could have easily lost to Pakistan and even Bangladesh.

Pakistan were always going to struggle whilst their openers were out of form but their bowling has been superb and kept them in every single game they played.
Of course luck came in the form of a South African choke but the same can be said about India, only India's batting and bowling as not been up to scratch. Nor has their fielding

India could have would have lost is irrelevant. That's where experience comes in. India won against Pak and BD. India is a deserving Semi finalist and that's why they are here. No issues with batting in this game too. They scored Par in every game except in the SA game. It's the bowlers that lost this game.

As a unit though, this team has achieved it's target in the WC considering the last world cup and Asia cup. They don't have that mysterious level that Pak possesses. However, as a unit this team under achieved in the world cups in the last 8 years. Surely a last series for half this team in T20s

Pakistan would have defended this total(or at least would have made it competitive). India overachieved so far in this tournament with that bowling attack.

Never thought I would agree with this guy. :inti

Why England team is so ultra-modern in LOIs and have so much success? It is because of their approach towards the game! Jason Roy whom I remembered opening recently is replaced by Hales, and they keep doing such changes... Every year, they keep changing almost half of their team! But we still have Rohit, Ashwin, Bhuvaneshwar, playing it...

Wow wow wow, this is a stunning performance from England. 168 was a good total, they are absolutely making a mockery of this in a knockout game. Come on England!

I can’t watch this mauling, and this is coming from a pak fan…can’t imagine what the Indians are going through

England have totally pulverised Indian bowling tonight.

India have no answers.

Hardik refusing to retrieve the ball now. Toys being thrown.

And :Six more for Buttler takes him to fifty.

This is all on Pandya. Why did he hit a few sixes at the end? Certainly made England angry

Agree, you need a dynamic hitter upfront. Doesn’t have to be elegant, just someone to put fear in the opposition.
England have 2 players injured in Roy and Bairstow that do the same
I can bet our shameless oldies will still cling on their spots in our T20 team

He has an ODI highest score of 175 against Pakistani phaaast bowlers.

Yasir Shah's highest test score is against Aus in Aus. Doesn't tell you anything now does it?

Indian bowling attack is not good and they have been crap so far, no variation, no line and length, no pace, nothing.

India made a big mistake not having a proper wrist spinner

Pandya’s clapping was India’s most threatening performance in the second innings.

Notice when we lose the jingoistic fellows like Cricjoshila is nowhere to be found. Congrats to England and Goodluck to Pakistani fans on Friday.

Had India scored a few more, Hales would have got a hundred :yk3 damn

End trying to copy Pak with 10 wkt victory. Do your own thing lads.

India has only played a good game against Zimbabwe, they are fortunate to be in the semi-finals.

Pakistan lost to India and Zimbabawe, and needed Ned to beat SA :)))

Pak in the semis is the very definition of a fluke.

And these same shameless oldies will cost us next year's ODI WC too.

Indian commentators are like indian crowds ..only apppreciate and jubilant over their own team performance

Yep their tone completely changes whereas Ian Smith did a brilliant job during the 2019 WC final when England sealed their first WC win. It must have been heartbreak for him to see NZ lose it but that didn't stop him from delivering a master piece on the mic.

Guys like Gavaskar, Manjrekar, Gambhir, Shashtri are pathetic bunch of sore losers. Harsha Bhogle is okay in these moments.

What is ICC doing? Don’t run away and reply please. They were going to arrange Pak v India final according to you.

Arshdeep was a good find. Shami, Ashwin and BK are surely done after this. Jadeja and Bumrah were missed but not sure they could have made any difference in this game.

Law of averages says Eng will be 10/2 in final these 2 openers have had there fun day out today !!

Apt message for this overrated team. India overachieved in the tournament with that bowling attack. Pakistan would have defended it (or at least would have taken down to the wire)

They didn’t give Kohli out when he was plumb. They gave India a favorable wicket. England beat the odds today unlike New Zealand yesterday.

How is Babar-Rizwan a better combo than Buttler-Hales? ICC rankings are a joke.

They did well yesterday but I can't believe how some fans believe for T20Is they're the best opening pair in the world.

Been more training practice than a WC semi

Edit: Sixer

In the PP Hales is the best of all time. But beyond that if you don’t stop him, god help you. This has been a pleasure to watch. After all those years in isolation, what a redemption for this special player.

i hope pakistan bowlers are watching this match and preparing for buttler and hales

Two of the best teams in the finals
without any cheating
amazing

Some posters here are hurt beyond their body and mind can take.

Its exciting to see when clowns do a natural, on-demand performance rather than masquerade in the circus.

6 more.

I'm actually proud we restricted them under 180 against us on a better track.

Ian Smith has always been one of my favourite commentators over the years.

He really goes under the radar, he’s such a passionate but fair commentator.
